Why arent they coming out with good shows now?
Monk is great but its starting to get old and not as funny anymore and Monk seems to be trying to hard to be like Psych
Psych is the best show ever made for television, nuff said
Burn Notice is also a very good show but sometimes the plots are not as easy to follow as other plots.
In Plain Sight is extremely boring, I thought it was good for the first 3 episodes but then I realised that every episode its the same episode remade but with a twist and follow the same pattern (bad thing happens, people go into witness protection, people disobey mary, by the end of the episode the bad guy is caught and everything is fine, something bad happens to mary, usually a near-death experience)
and now we have the Starter Wife, the whole premise just screams bad, some woman gets married to a celeb and then they get divorced between the time span of 1-5 years, and thats it, there really is no plot to this show and the commercials for it seem like its even more boring than i thought.

I think USA needs to step it up a notch and bring us more hilarious detective shows, namely Psych.

I don't think Monk is like Psych at all. If that were the case, I would probably enjoy watching Psych.

I so have to agree with that statement, likeadrian. Monk is much deeper in plot as to what drives Adrian. There is a real back
story there.

There is a following for every series on USA and each one of us can pick what we like to watch but when you check the ratings for USA the only series that gets higher ratings than Monk is WWE, and the only cable station that has had series high ranking like those on USA are those on TNT so that should tell us that USA is doing something right.

If you've never been divorced, or widowed or come to the end of a relationship where you had a place in life you knew and understood than you probably can't understand the idea behind "The Starter Wife."

"Burn Notice" has it's good moments, I like the cast of characters and the actors who play them but sometimes the plot if hard to follow.

"In Plain Sight" just isn't for me, I don't like the main character visiting her boyfriend just for a bedtime tussle then running off to save another poor sole who's life is so in danger they need witness protection. It has gone the way of "House," the story is always the same, find the mysterious disease by trial and error, triumph in the end and go back to life as usual.

The biggest complaint I have against "PSYCH" is because I lived through the racial wars and remember the stereotyped roles blacks played in movies - I don't like to see Shawn make Gus look like the stereotyped black man when he gives him names like 'knick-knack,' 'silly pants Jones' or any of the other ways he treats Gus - it smells to me of racial slurs. Probably a generation gap thing on my part.

I agree with LikeAdrian: I like Monk, but I think Psych doesn't have enough substance to it. My 15 year old son likes Psych though. I am so disappointed that Law and Order: Criminal Intent didn't come on tonight. We didn't even get a heads up; even my TV schedule said it was coming on, and I'd been looking forward to it for weeks.
