Whats up with monk / all the latest shows they havent even shown him trying to get back on the force.

I would thought that They would of tride again after the monk is on the run episodes. Monk and Captain Leland Stottlemeyer had grown so much and he trusted him so much.


I belive i know why / when it will happen but i wish it will happen soon.

"Mr. Monk Takes A Punch" addressed that in a way. Also, "Underwater" would indicate that he's not ready at all considering he was dillusional for that time on the sub. He has grown since On the Run but apparently, not enough. I too was hoping they would springboard off of that growth. I think Tony mentioned they may work on that or he would expect that to be resolved by series end, and they don't know when that will be! I'd like 100 more eps!

IMHO when Monk gets back on the force, will be at the close of the series. Also, Trudy`s murder will be solved, and Monk might find love again. Right now, I think Monk is more valuable to the SF Police Department the way he is. He works at his own pace, with Natalie by his side, no boss, not as much pressure, none of his peers making fun of him everyday, etc.
