I thought it was weird that they just added "in historic Santa Barbara" to the window of White Rock Muffler in White Rock, B.C. (probably not nearly as weird as the people in White Rock think it is).

I couldn't believe it when I drove through there last weekend, and they still have the "historic Santa Barbara" part painted on the window! So, of course I had to take a picture of it. biggrin.gif

White Rock was crazy busy that day so I parked in a no-parking zone and jumped out of my car and ran up to the window to take the picture. This older couple was peering in the window so I asked them if they'd mind stepping back for a sec while I took the picture. They were looking at me really weird so I mumbled something about how I watch the show that the window was painted for and I just wanted a picture of it, and then I ran back to the car and took off.

I looked back and they were still standing there, staring at me like "WHAT in the heck was THAT?!" laugh.gif

I was there again this weekend so I got a picture of myself in front of the window, just to prove I was really there and it wasn't just a picture from the internet or something.

So now I'm wondering if they're going to use it again for an upcoming show! Don't know why they would have left it that way otherwise, unless they just forgot about it.

Thanks for letting me share!

That. Is. AWESOME! biggrin.gif Thanks for sharing. And you know, maybe the White Rock Muffler folks will act as "Psych Magnets" to draw in new viewers.... I mean, c'mon...you know people have to be curious!!

If my business was used in Psych, I'd keep up any window changes they made--just because it's *that* cool!

Yeah, but remember British Columbia doesn't get USA Network, so the locals have never seen it. White Rock is a very tourist-y town, though. smile.gif

That really is awesome, PsychFanSue! I'm glad you got a picture of it! biggrin.gif

I keep waiting for that to happen, LOL! I'd probably faint before I could get any pictures, though. rolleyes.gif I always seem to be in the area on Saturday or Sunday, and I have a feeling they film on weekdays, at least around there, 'cause it's so insanely busy on sunny weekends.

Ha! No kidding! I was flipping back and forth between the pictures: "Shawn standing by the window...ME standing by the window!" biggrin.gif

My mom, who was kind enough to take the picture while ignoring the strange looks from passers-by, thinks I'm nuts. Evidently I'm supposed to be a mature adult or something. Oh well, I'm a Psychaholic and proud of it!! tongue.gif
