Full Version: Guess The Episode/LOCI Trivia (Level 2)

There are varying levels of knowledge among those who enjoy playing "Guess the Episode" and "LOCI Trivia". Experienced players tend to ask more difficult questions which can frustrate new or less knowledgeable players. On the other hand, if the questions are too easy, there is no challenge and no fun for the experienced players. This combined thread is intended to solve the problem.

Players can ask either trivia or "guess the episode" type questions. Clues should be issued sparingly. Research is acceptable because it will help players to advance and compete at this level. Obviously, players can still participate in the other trivia threads but the more difficult or obscure questions should be reserved for this thread.

Your feedback is welcome. Enjoy the thread!

Here is one to get us started. It may not be all that difficult for some, considering they are already at the "genius" level. Me, I'm workin' on it!

Guess the episode:

Eames: Public service runs in the family.
pfchristine
Great idea NLfann!!

Shoot... I can hear Eames saying that one... I'm gonna have to think about this one!

No.

Welcome to the thread. I know you have a "thing" about new threads but I thought we needed one like this. Obviously you were one of the people I had in mind when I created it.

Sorry, no.

P.S. If nobody gets it, I will give another clue later this evening.

Right you are. One brother was a Health Inspector, the other a Medical Examiner. She said it while she and Goren were searching Larry Chapel's apartment.

Anybody can play on this thread but players need to understand up front that the questions will be more difficult or obscure and there will be fewer or less frequent clues.

Edited to add:

I could change the description to say "More difficult questions, less clues" but I don't know how to do it.

You just have to the the "Full Edit" instead of the "Quick Edit".

Krod, you were correct so it's your turn. There has been so much extra discussion since that you may have missed my response to your post.

I'm sort of agreeing with cluck here, maybe this should be easier for us? Let me think about my question for a few, I do ask a question, right? This is easy, what main guest star male, had his own hit TV show at one time?

Ya... I think I'll just let someone else answer. I'm not fond of these "There are a dozen correct answers but guess which one I'm thinking of" questions.

As you see above, how many people that is just in season 1-4, and If I really had the time I could find more, You need to narrow it down more, at least the season.

I love how you want easy questions, but then you come up with these questions that have a million answers.

Another clue, the episode this man was in, his ex owned a hotel, and 1 child in this epi. The guest star's famous show was also a cop show, but funny instead of drama. Now, that is giving everything but the answer. You can also go to unscramble topic, and there ya go! Actually, I'm gonna give the answer, I have too much to do before leaving, so anybody can pick it up, it's Hal Linden, starred in Barney Miller, episode, Suite Sorrow. Take it away anyone! smile.gif
