I have a question that keeps bugging me whenever I see his bookcase. If he has OCD, why is it that the books in his bookcase is not arranged in a special order like in same color or height or genre? and if it is, what arrangement is it?
Fellow OCDs and Monk Fans, I think we'd agree that this needs to be answered,
p.s. I have only watched season 1-3, will it be answered in seasons 4 & 5?

I imagine, since he worked in a library (Reunion), that it's either the Library of Congress system or the Dewey Decimal system.
I just watched a 'Mystery Woman" movie (set in a bookstore for those who have never watched it) and one of the customers had all her books in zip lock bags to protect them and I thought: "Oh my God, how did the writers ever miss having Adrian putting his books in zip lock bags." 
I know Adrian's are behind glass but this, to me, was just a great MONK moment the writers didn't pick up on. Adrian does love his little plastic zip lock bags.
