And where is the last episode of season 1? Skeletoncrew definitely is not it. It ends inconclusive and the next season does not follow up on it. Can't find this episode anywhere!

Skeleton Crew is definently the season finale of 1. It never aired on NBC,but has on USA and in the dvd. Maybe with CBS picking it up, they never revisited it as they added Mac and moved on. Thats my guess.

this is what i found on wikipedia

This is the first season broadcast on CBS. The cliffhanger from the previous season is simply ignored, though the first episode of this season has flashbacks to the previous season's finale that establish that Lt. Schonke (a guest character last season) and Major MacKenzie (a regular character from this point forward) look the same (both are played by the same actress, Catherine Bell).

I really don't have a reply, I want to ask a question? Where is JAG????? I live in the Cincinnati area, north. Cincinnati Bell is my cable network. JAG hasn't been on here for going on 2 weeks. That stupid show Monk is on about 10 times in a row. Or Law and order. If you can show Monk, why can't you show JAG? It was on 2 times, one time at 7 am, and the next one was 8 am. I recorded both of them and put some of them on VHS tapes. I'm glad I did this because if I hadn't, I wouldn't be able to watch it anymore.

Is USA going to start showing JAG again? Or is it over?

Thank you,.........Dave

If this is really true, I'm flabbergasted! It costs a lot of money to make an episode, I think. Then leaving the viewers hanging after a cliffhanger like that?! Amazing!
But tnx for enlighting me.

"Death Watch" from Season 3 is CBS' resurrection of the NBC Skeleton Crew cliffhanger. I have never seen Skeleton Crew, but those who have say it is very similar although with some differences. Go here and read the "notes" area for more info.

Right, I've found it. It's indeed basically the same episode, and now wrapped up. It's really an amazing SNAFU IMO. Oh well. It does not diminish the quality of the series.

The last episode of season 1 (NBC) has Harm being arrested for Dianne's murder. Season 2 (CBS), episode 1 does not pick up on it. They finally got around to answering some questions about the season 1, who was the killer, etc.
