Since I re-listened to "Commentary: The Musical!" again, now I have "Zack's Flavour" stuck in my head... really just the chorus, because I never get full songs stuck in my head...
PsychFreakILoveJamesRoday
I'm Not Over by Carolina Liar. Ever since I saw What Happens in Vegas everytime I see Ashton Kutcher I'm reminded of that song.

I hate end of summer really so now I'm listening WAKE ME UP WHEN SEPTEMBER ENDS- GREEN DAY

Summer has come and passed
The innocent can never last
wake me up when September ends
...

here comes the rain again
falling from the stars
drenched in my pain again
becoming who we are
applejacks
I gotta feeling by the black eyed peas ( they have a thing for songs you cannot get out of your head) uggh it's driving me crazy

The Big Bang Theory theme: *sings*

Our whole universe was in a hot dense state,
Then nearly fourteen billion years ago expansion started. Wait...
The Earth began to cool,
The autotrophs began to drool,
Neanderthals developed tools,
We built a wall (we built the pyramids),
Math, science, history, unraveling the mysteries,
That all started with the big bang!

"Since the dawn of man" is really not that long,
As every galaxy was formed in less time than it takes to sing this song.
A fraction of a second and the elements were made.
The bipeds stood up straight,
The dinosaurs all met their fate,
They tried to leap but they were late
And they all died (they froze their asses off)
The oceans and pangea
See ya, wouldn't wanna be ya
Set in motion by the same big bang!

It all started with the big BANG!

It's expanding ever outward but one day
It will cause the stars to go the other way,
Collapsing ever inward, we won't be here, it wont be hurt
Our best and brightest figure that it'll make an even bigger bang!

Australopithecus would really have been sick of us
Debating out while here they're catching deer (we're catching viruses)
Religion or astronomy, Encarta, Deuteronomy
It all started with the big bang!

Music and mythology, Einstein and astrology
It all started with the big bang!
It all started with the big BANG!

Ziggy85
In July I saw the musical Wicked for the first time and since then I've been listening to the soundtrack non-stop, so the songs on there have been in my head. Also there's a song by Joey Mcintyre called Without Your Love that's beautiful, so that one's in my head a lot.
Ragoo
Kings of Leon - King of the Rodeo

Also, does boom, boom, boom... muffins count as a song?
BlackTsChica
"This is the Picture" by Peter Gabriel (and yes the muffins "jingle" is also in my head...now I want to eat a muffin)
Okapi
"Cross Bones Style" by Cat Power cool.gif

"Waking Up in Vegas," unfortunately - most likely triggered by this section in my - haha. Okay, it's the Idiots Guide to Psychology (what can I say, random stuff in the library grabs my attention), but I was going to say "my Psych book." How appropriate. biggrin.gif Anyway, section's called "Information Overload."
Stupid implicit memory....

Gah! (And it's a pretty bad earworm.)

"Nobody" by the Wonder Girls

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iEGtPEVmXCs

It seems to be the type of song Gus would revel in. huh.gif
Yeoboseyo
Thank goodness that last earworm's out. I'm lovin' this rendition of "Nassam 3alayna 'l hawa" ('The wind breezes [over the valley]'), made famous by Lebanese singer Fairuz. This rendition is done by Algerian rai singer (Cheb) Khaled and Syrian singer Assalah. Khaled's voice sort of reminds me of a huskier version of Elvis Costello.

I had to play the doumbek (lap drum) for this song for one of my undergrad music classes - it was pretty cool.
DramaQueenBroadway
I've had "The Entertainer" (which is used in the movie "The Sting" for those of you not familiar with it) stuck in my head since Wednesday of last week. My "Music in the Elementary School" teacher played part of it for us and I've NOT been able to get it out of my head since then!!!!
Other than that, I have Bon Jovi's "Living On a Prayer" stuck in my head because I just watched the music video for it On Demand and I also have the theme song for "Drop Dead Diva" stuck in my head because I just watched it for a second time this week!! Oh great, now I'll have "I'll Be There" stuck in my head because a commercial for a cancer awareness walk just came on and that was the song they were playing! *sings* "You and I must make a pact, we must bring salvation back, where there is love I'll be there...." "Oh we're halfway there...OH LIVING ON A PRAYER!!!! TAKE MY HAND, WE'LL MAKE IT I SWEAR, OH LIVING ON A PRAYER!!!!!" Love that song!!!! My friend and I sing that all the time at mid term time!!!!!

I just put it on my new laptop!!! *sings* "5 hundred 25 thousand 6 hundred min. 5 hundred 25 thousand moments so dear! 5 hundred 25 thousand 6 hundred min. how do you measure, measure a year. In daylights, in sunsets, in midnights and cups of coffee, in inches, in miles, in laughter, in strife, in 5 hundred 25 thousand 6 hundred min. how do you measure a year in the life? How about love, how about love! How about love, measure in love. Seasons of love! Seasons of love!" Sing with me people!!!!

There was an motivational speaker at my college a few days ago and now I've had "Lean on Me" stuck in my head since he played it during his speech

DramaQueenBroadway
OMG I did that song in chorus!!! "If there is a load, you have to bear, that you can't carry, I'm right up the road. I'll share your load if you just call me. You just call on me brother when you need a hand, we all need somebody to lean on! I just might have a problem that you'd understand, we all need somebody to lean on!!!"

The full video for the song "Wannabe" (Epik High), which I posted yesterday.

Even if you have no idea what Korean hip-hop sounds like (or have no interest in it), you should check out this video. It's a clever spoof of the monster horror flick "The Host", but there are nods to "Star Wars", "Cloverfield", and a number of martial arts flicks.

"Folkin' Around" by Panic! at the Disco

The first half of the song makes me think of Shawn and Gus as kids. The second half makes me think of weird shootout/hostage scenes with Heroic!Lassiter and Emotional!Shawn. *strokes non-existent beard* I don't know why exactly. Mostly the "And I'll even have the courtesy of admitting I was wrong" line causes me to imagine Lassie putting his pride aside and admitting Shawn is actually a talented investigator. The "You've never been so divine in accepting your defeat" just incurs images of poor Lassie and his inability to admit when Shawn's bested him, followed by "And I've never been more scared to be alone" just makes me think of Shawn as the kind of person who needs attention and needs to be silly so much that being alone might bother him... or weird "Oh noes Lassie don't die!" from the aforementioned random shootout/hostage thing.

...

*blink*

Aw, heck. I don't even know what the heck I'm on about anymore. DX

I like the song. ;o;
