Where do you get the clips for the fanmade vids that people make on youtube, 'cuz I want to make one but don't have any clips. I'm sorry if this thread is annoying but I couldn't find anywhere else to put it (Besides off topic, but yet again...) Please help me. I'm really lost.

With the right software you can also capture video right off the cable. Probalby most people just have a DVD recorder/burner hooked up to the TV though.

A lot of the clips you see on youtube are taken from:

http://www.thereelvincentdonofrio.com/clips/clips.html

but a lot of the really good vids on youtube, come from someone capturing their own images, especially those with clips from recent episodes. I would try asking the makers of vids you like at youtube how/where/what program they use to get their clips - I'm sure they'd be most helpful.

(if you use clips from thereel - you should credit the site on your video.)
