I was on The Reel and they have an article up from USA network, the show will return for season eight in November, for the full article go to The Reel, it's a long article but good news regarding the ratings. also NBC has two episodes on their schedule for August 30th at 9& 10 P.M., no titles, no indication if first run from season seven or not.

No I have never had the urge to throw a cat, whoever made the upgrades to this board though I wouldn't mind throwing, I had to use my old name from NBC to get back on the board I prefer my USA name dramaqueen, but whatever at least I can access the board. The article I saw mentions 6 producers not 4 , Walon Green, Robert Nathan, John Coles, Michael S. Chemuchin, Andrew Lipsitz, and Timothy J.Lea. Announced by Jeff Wachtel and Dick Wolf. It was on The Reel yesterday, may still be there if anyone cares to read the whole article. It doesn't say when in November.

Regardless of when in November Season 8 of CI starts, we are probably only going to get a handful of episodes (like 4 or 5) before they take a break for the Christmas holidays. Likely we will be lucky to get two episodes in December and then new episodes probably won't return until sometime in January. This does stretch the season out a bit, so instead of it being only 16 weeks, it will likely stretch it to 16 episodes over like a 20 week time span. But I am thrilled that we don't have to wait forever for CI to return. I am upset with USA that they have renewed In Plain Sight for a second season, but that production on season 2 doesn't start until October. This means we likely won't see any new episode of IPS until after the new year and production of season 1 wrapped up a while ago. I wish they had done the same thing with IPS that they did with CI and started them at around the same time. USA seems to do that with its shows. Usually Psych, Burn Notice, and Monk all "return" with new episodes around the same time, so I was hoping that they would lump CI and IPS together but I guess not.

november sounds fine but the show will last only till december when it's christmas and all actors go on holidays so we'll get only a month of loci , right?let's say 1 and a half

Well, they said at the end of the show Sunday, that JG would be joining the LOCI cast with new episodes starting in November.

Yes. Definitely!!!!! I have been going through withdrawal symptoms!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just keep watching my DVDs and the other seasons I have recorded on VHS tapes, and also I keep watching 'Frame' on my computer. I bought it from Amazon.com... But it still doesn't give me the new dosage of my Goren fix... Every time I watch 'Frame', I get more and more anxious for November to come!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't stand it!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm going insane !!!!!!!! I need new Goren/Eames episodes!!!!!

Since USA Network wanted to reduce the number of episodes to 16 episodes, and CN was done with the show, why couldn't they reduce it to 14 episodes and ask VDO/KE if they wanted to do all 14 episodes (an entire season)!?! They were already doing 11 episodes, and that seemed to be better for them..... So if USA Network wanted to reduce episodes, my Goren fix would be to have him do 14 or 15 episodes (which still isn't an unbearable 22 episodes) and then we could get all Goren, all the time!!! And it wouldn't be a burden on VDO/KE to to a few more episodes!!!!!!!!!!! (Just dreamin', ya know!) I can't stop thinking about this.... Maybe they did and VDO/KE prefer just 11... NO. WAIT!!!! Do they just prefer 8 episodes? PLEASE!!! The fans want MORE than 8 Goren/Eames episodes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WAAAAH!!!...............

i had some as welll but now i got over it . i heard the new title of the first epi of season 8 it's going to be ''faithfull'' . it will deal with some religiuos situations i guess . i wonder whether they will contiune with goren's personal drama , it started to obsess me and i can't concentrate on their cases anymore ... and when i post on this forum i get even more curious aboutt the next season....it's contagious..folks!!!

I just saw my first promo for the new season (with Jeff Goldblum and Julianne Nicholson) and at the end it said the new season starts Friday November 7th at 9pm.

Thought everyone would want to know.
