When you order it you start an account. It's pretty safe, I guess, about as good as any for that. I've been doing it for some time. I've downloaded 25 CI eps so far. Anyway, go to Amazon.com, and it'll have a section on tv downloads, go there, pick CI. Then just click on the one you want to buy. Within seconds, it's yours. Then when you've bought it, click on the ep, and it will download to your pc. You can watch it in about 5 minutes, but it will take about 2 hours for it to fully download to your computer.

And yes, you can watch anytime, pause, go forward or back, make a bigger screen or little. It's really great, no commercials to ruin the continuity, and the quality is excellent. And only $!.99 an episode.

Another preview that was not on the show was in "Untethered" when Ross and Eames go to Tates to get Bobby out. Somewhere in their talk, Warden Pellis says "You may be shocked by his appearance." Wish they would've left that line in. When she said that, Ross kind of looked at Eames, but you don't get to see her reaction, it ended.

"untethered" is the full episode...the part w/the engagement ring and the "splash" comment are in the episode.

I have about 8-10 of the amazon episodes...they are missing a few seasons...I think you can only get 1, 5-7.

It is very clear and I have caught a lot of "oops" sort of things by watching them so many times...great fun.

Once I have it on my PC, can I transfer it to a DVD? Although the PC is good--that's where I do my writing and I like to have CI on for inspiration.

You can view it online and/or download it for later viewing... It is so wonderful to watch it without commercials and with such picture quality!

Unfortunately, it will not transfer to DVD, believe me, I've tried. There is some kind of a block on transferring to DVD, probably for the same reason it's difficult to copy a dvd. Copyright, I assume.

Amazon Unbox also has a thing where you can have your episode right on your TiVo. But I haven't figured it out yet, and don't want to ask the hubby. It may require a converter of some sort, don't know for sure, and my husband absolutely hates messing with setting those kind of things up. But wouldn't it be cool to be able to watch them on the big screen with no commercials? I'll figure it out sometime! LOL

I pressed "Print Screen" on the keyboard, which basically copies what you have up on the computer screen. I used the basic "paint" feature that comes with the windows computer. I pasted to "paint" and edited it down to size.... saved the picture... uploaded it... and put the pictures on this board...

Considering that any lawyer who takes it up will expect a huge chunk of any settlement, the time it will take to get it to a court, let alone tried, and settled, Bobby will probably find a way out of debt before he ever sees a dime from the courts.

That, and seeing as he went in under false pretenses and deliberately put himself in a situation that he knew to be dangerous I don't like his chances. Not to mention his reputation for being already off-balance. How could Bobby ever definitively prove that he really had planned it all out and hadn't just 'snapped' instead? Any defense attorney worth a damn will have a field day.

Also, Bobby may feel he was 'just doing his job', even if it wasn't an official one. Taking a settlement means that other families whose loved ones were abused/murdered at Tates in the Mental Observation Unit would recieve less.

It’s taken me this long for me to get a second look at Frame, and now that I have… I was wrong.

While I would prefer to maintain my delusion that because Bobby had already seen through the layer of false reality when Gage said he was “two steps ahead of everyone else in the room” the details of Gage’s adventure with Nicole became the newfalse reality (or in-between step) separating Bobby from the truth, it’s become harder to argue now that I see Gage clinging to his original mis-leads for as long as he does.

So, this is a big downgrade: The forced tone of: “It’s exhausting always having to be two steps ahead of everyone else in the room” did not indicate a clue so much as a pun. “Everyone else in the room” was The Law, and Gage was reworking the term “two steps ahead of the law”. Gage’s opinion of his own work makes it seem he might have preferred to say: “Two-stepping ahead of the law.”


My work here is done. Time to move on. One last wave of my black hat before I turn and ride out of town, my silhouette slowly diminishes into the sunset – or it would, were it not for the geographical complication of the Pacific Ocean.

I am really looking forward to seeing what the new team does from hear. They can choose to have Bobby move forward as if the first seven seasons never existed, much like the "Dallas" shower scene or they can, even if it's not central to the story line, show how Bobby is dealing with everything Dec did for him.


It certainly hammers home the point of the quote "with friends like that you don't need enemies".

They should hint at how Bobby is dealing with what happened in this episode (just for a little bit) and then go back to investigating as usual...

I watched it last night and I enjoyed it, granted I didn't see most of the Season 6 Goren/Eames episodes, I still understood. The best part was when Declan told Bobby "Your free", I'm watching and thinking is he REALLY free? You want him to be free of his past demons but on the other hand, killing Nicole and Frank seems like it was too extreme, which could lead to more emotional baggage for Bobby.

Here's hoping the new writers will have Bobby return to the quirky cop we've all come to love.

And yes ladies, I did enjoy the eyebrow gesture he gave to Ross

I don't want the writers to write as if Bobby's whole life before never existed. It did. I would expect Bobby to have and show some feelings for everything he's been through. He could still solve crimes and be as quirky as ever, but I don't want him forgetting where he came from, and how much he has accomplished despite everything he has had to overcome. To come so far after all that is more than a major accomplishment. And he should get to know that.

I'm hoping that during the new season we'll get to see Bobby come to terms with all that happens and slowly begin to heal. I don't expect to see the quirky detective we all know and have come to love return immediately, just in small increments. I do like Goren angsty and suffering but i like him better when he's dancing (metaphorically speaking) around the suspects and turning their guilty little brains into knots. I do miss those moments i have to admit.

ITA.....I'm hoping that we'll start to see it again in S8......right now Endgame is on Bravo, part 1 of what I like to call "The Dark Trilogy" (Endgame, Untethered, Frame).
Let's hope our favorite cop returns to his quirks.

I watched this again last night. Such a powerful episode. I think this is my favorite all time episode, although Vanishing Act is a close second.

I wonder why Bobby told Declan about MFB being his father but not Eames. After what Jo did to Eames, it seems a kinda external rectal opening thing to do. Sometimes I wonder if Bobby isn't just an external rectal opening pretending to be a nice guy. Also, I wonder why Eames didn't get more upset about his choice of confidante.

It kind of makes sense to me that he would confide in Declan. After all he was his mentor for years, and evidently confided in him in the past about his childhood. And whatever his failings as a father, Declan's expertise is serial killers. So I think that it's logical that he would talk to him about the possibility of MFB being his father, then later about the confirmation that he was his father. I also like to think that he would have eventually confided in Eames, but I think he was still processing it and trying to deal with his own feelings.

I love the censors, I find this episode and untethered the hardest to watch. Guess since I am emotionally attached to Goren. I used to find all Nicole Wallace episodes hard to watch, but funny I find the old Bobby like a different person. I love the new Bobby.

So what does "you're free" mean? I was hoping it would be a way to reboot Goren's character so we can see him more like he was in early CI --- you know, head tilting, dancing, Boston accent, exuberant, and glad to have the job he has. Lately, CI has been more CSI, than the "Goren show" like it should have been.

I love Goldblum as much as the next guy, but I'd rather see vintage VDO.

What makes me think we're getting more of the same is the "keeping of the beard" in the promos. *sigh*

Dammit. Ya know what movie I just thought of a few minutes ago? Well, no, you don't do you?

The movie was Se7en. Brad Pitt, Morgan Freeman, Kevin Bacon. The one where the killer uses the seven deadly sins as a motif. Anyway, the scene I was thinking of was when Kevin's character obviously has killed Pitt's character's wife and now has her head in a box. And Pitt keeps asking him, "What's in the boooox?" It's supposed to be this great scene of angst and tension, only, well, Pitt says it in the most whiny voice imaginable. I know I know I know I'm not supposed to, but to me, it's funny. Narm, bathos, call it what you will.

And now, of course, I can't help but connect it to that scene in "Frame." Darnit. Probably ruined for me now, but it was a big downer of an episode, maybe it could stand a sick chuckle midway through.
