You start seeing things on tv and go... omg, that reminds me of Burn Notice, Michael/Fi, Sam, etc....

I was watching tv and the music video for Maroon 5 and Rihanna's new song came on and all I could do was picture Michael and Fi while this whole thing was going on...lol.

Oh once a week is just not enough

You track the progress of the week on when the next epi of BN will air. Saturday is 5 days to BN.

...you've had your tv on USA every waking moment of the day just to watch the Burn Notice promo's!!!

...you buy a magazine you'd ordinarily never buy because it has a full page Burn Notice ad on the back.

...you adjust all travel plans so you don't miss the Thursday night airing of BN

On Thursday nights I change my outgoing message for my voicemail. I give warning that I won't be answering because Burn Notice will be on soon so I won't be answering and I will return their call once the show has ended.

You become evangelical about converting all your friends, family and acquaintances to watching the show because it is so great.

When you search the web endlessely to find next week's preview and then watch a 1 minute clip repeatly for a hour which makes you miss the show so you then watch a season 1 episode or the previous season 2 episodes... all of which you have seen a half dozen times at least.

You are sitting there watching s.2, ep.3 ("Trust Me") the first time through and when Michael points to a book about safes and asks his client if he's sure it was one of those and the name on the book is "Siebels Safes" and you chuckle to yourself and say, "Hey, a shoutout to production designer Craig Siebels."

...when you can't stop watching the show, cant stop googling Jeffrey, you make videos on youtube, and you are on the website 24-7 to watch interviews, you get magazines just because it has pictures and interviews. Here is where it gets better... just because i watch the show now i want to be a spy when i grow up and i hope i run into someone that looks as good as michael weston or jeffrey donovan

The promos are hot. Love the one clip where Michael and Fiona are running, they duck behind a wall just as an unmarked cruiser, apparently driven by the G-men pulls up; the look Michael gives the camera is so sexy....a little playfulness mixed with the bad boy smirk, along with the Cheshire cat grin....mmmmmm

Rewind??!!! LOL!!! I'm pleading the fifth!!!

You buy one copy of UsMagazine, EW, TVGuide, & Vegas Golfer because the actors are in them even though you dont read those mags!
You check out all fan sites to see if there's new pictures;
You ramble on in a posting making no sense at all but professing your love of this show.

hey I do those things that are listed but am in no way obsessed. Also, I do the same for other musicians I have met but I do a chat session since well, believe it or not, most are up at 2am- 6am. Well, in Austrailia it's another day and night over there so most are at the beach when it's summer. I don't suggest doing what I do, since that would to some on the board seem a bit childish and obsessive, which in most regards are. But... if ya met the people and know em, they would tell a diff tune.

Oh God, I actually did that. I haven't had yogurt in maybe 10 years, and I was at the grocery store Saturday afternoon and went, "hmmm, maybe I should get some..." (Wasn't half bad either.)

You flip on the kitchen television while making breakfast on Sunday morning. It's 10AM, the channel is set to USA... but Psych comes on. You like Psych... but... you realize your husband is saying, "Put down the iron skillet and walk away from the television!"

Because Psych is not Burn Notice!

YEA!!! It's like some kind of mind control. I'm never this obsessed about anything. I wasn't this far gone when I went through my football/basketball love affair. When something that most normal people would consider more important pops up, I apologize and say I can't do it. In my head I'm thinking, "Are you out of your freakin' mind!!!! That's Burn Notice night! I don't think so!!! Good day! I said GOOD DAY!!!!!"

Ebony and Ivory!!!!! LOL!!! Love that commercial. At the end when they give the behind the back five, it's as if they were saying, "Nailed it!!!!" It was as awful as the original music video.

I'm the same way - honestly, I have never been this obsessed about anything, either. I dunno *what* it is about this show exactly...I mean, I am completely and utterly obsessed with everything about it. I want to know where Nefzi the Tunisian counterfeiter's storefront is located, for instance. I'm so far gone, guys.

[And I refuse to answer my phone on Thursday nights - I mean, I won't even answer the phone if it's like, an hour before the show airs because I have to get into my "BN-zone," LOL!]

Used to love it too....but it's getting a tad over played (I should know, as 80% at least of my summer watching is USA)....wish they would come up with a new one (Not a big MJ fan, but they could try Say Say Say...... )

As far as the real thing, didn't really see the vid much, but I did/do like the song....ecectic taste I guess.....

Yeah, that "I said GOOD DAY" made me laugh out loud, too! I heart Vestokes and all of you "kindred spirits" who are here. Such a fun and witty group of people.

I've blown so many movie passes for screenings on Thursday night just because of this show. But I have had other shows where I was completely addicted. Not anymore. I hope I don't outgrow this addiction. It's an awfully nice one to have.

You know you're addicted when you are jealous of the people that just discovered the show. You envy their new discovery because you know how exciting the new experience was for you. The show was such a pleasant surprise during a boring TV summer.

You know you're addicted when you're looking for a summery, "beachy" dress for a party and one of your criteria is "Would Fi wear this?"

My gal friends and I went on holiday to Vegas. Some brought their significant others. We decided to do a gal's night out when the guys all were pooped from an all day trip around Nevada. We got all dolled up and strutted our stuff down the strip like party gals. One of my friends was really working it, throwing her hips forward and tossing her hair. I told her you remind me of Fiona. I was surprised that it started this whole BN discussion that went on throughout the night. We decided we needed theme music for our stroll, so "Connected" by the Sterephonics was definitely the winner hands down. Too bad no one had a boom box. LOL!!!!

One of my friends hadn't seen BN so when she got back home she downloaded it from iTunes. She is now a JD-aholic. I must admit half of us were Sam-aholics. 

If Fi could wear this, trust me....it wouldn't fit me!!!!

Today I put my hair up with bobby pins instead of a clip....just in case I need to pick a lock or something...

you're driving down the highway and see a Caddy and say "there goes Sam!"

I just went out of town and everytime I saw a Caddy it made me think of Burn Notice and then I would get so excited as each day passed that it was getting closer and closer to Thursday!


This happened to me last Thursday. I was like "Who is calling me during Burn Notice?! They should know better!" I made them leave a message.
