Usually when I see a wacky news story that starts out with a man trying to glue himself to someone, it's in America. Picture that--they're running off the rails in England as well.

I think this just says it all-
"Dan Glass, a 24-year-old member of Plane Stupid,..."
At least he had a reason for it, though. Not like the occasional report of some guy sticking a firecracker up his backside and having a friend light it. Brings a quite literal meaning to that altered saying, '"With friends like that, you don't need enemas." Seriously. Never again.
Last guy I heard of that did that lost his wedding tackle, too. Sad, in a way, but at the same time, I'm kinda glad that he's out of the gene pool.

rofl! Still, it's pretty hard to beat a news headline like "tries to glue himself to Prime Minister." That's high comedy.

It was a non violent protest and the guy told the Prime Minister what he was doing, the Prime Minister was even heard laughing and "The Plane Stupid" group is a group who are protesting about planes and the the harm they do to the environment, this doesn't seem as stupid as some protests and the firework one is even more stupid...at least it was non violent.
I think it's a good way really but it would have been more effective if he'd put it on his hand then shook the PM's hand cause it would then dry and they would have been successfully stuck together, and then only soap and water would have undone it or the soecial glue remover.
It's not the dumbest protest as i say.

As a protest it wasn't stupid, but the headline was hilarious. I would have loved it if he had found another way to protest--not knowing if the prime minister had a skin condition or allergies or broken skin, this guy could have harmed him just coating his hand with super glue. I'm still laughing over the wording of the headline though. I don't this guy chose...the best tack.....as it were.
