I started watching the show because of a commercial that should Michael driving his old car, which looks to be a 72 dodge charger. I like the show and i'm glad they didn't make the car a main character(like the dukes or night rider) but i would like to see the car more.

It's not a '72. I owned a '72, and the style is different. Michael's Charger is between a 1973 and 1974... closer to '74.

LOL!!! Dukes or Night rider. You know it. That would have sucked. Also would have ruined the image of a really great muscle car.

I also have a charger,(71) and think it's cool that his mom calls it "the charger". Do you think it should be on the show more?

yes! love the charger!
although it's funny in the DVD commentary how Matt Nix talked about how they didn't realize how difficult it would be to find extra Chargers from that year in Miami, in addition, it doesn't drive so well on sand - LOL
That
IMCDB site for BN is so cool.

and black......
when he opens the trunk, opens the car doors, or is tinkering under the hood the car color is white. So that leads me to believe that the original color was white and they painted the outside black.
Still love the car and the driver.!!
