He hands you a book.


"Neurodevelopment and Schizophrenia , I don't know what to say, wow. This hasn't even been released yet. I am on the waiting list at the University book store."

He blushes and looks down at his feet. "Look inside the front cover."

"Oh my God! It's autographed. How did you...."

"I know the author and was able to get a copy. I did some research on Dr. Randolph the doctor your interning with and that is part of his research isn't it?"

"Yes, it is. Do you always do so much research on a girl your taking to dinner?"

"No, just the interesting ones," he smiled helping you on with your wrap letting his hands rest on your shoulders for a few moments. "I must say you look lovely tonight."

"So do you. Oh I mean you look handsome," you look down blushing. "Shall we go."

He opens the door for you and the two of you walk out the door. When you get to his car he opens the door for you, you slide into the passenger seat and he closes the door. When you arrive at Sal's he hurries to the passenger side to open the door for you. He offers his hand to help you out of the car, you take it. His hands are large but soft. He then puts his arm around your back and escorts you into the restaurant. The hostess knows him by name and shows you two to the table. Bobby pulls out the chair for you. You look at the menu and..............

I am really enjoying this.

YAY Dinner! I order what I like, because I can make my own choices. But I still share!

I am waiting, I always make my choice first, but I love hearing yall reasons, cause then they make sense, and then I change my mind. Just like the book thing. Right now I am leaning to asking him what is good, since he obviously eats there alot that they know him, so he probably knows what is good. And then making a choice from that.


But definatly no garlic or onions, they give me gas. lol. Also I want fresh breath.

Well, he researched my boss and chose the perfect book for "me", so after I picked myself back up off the floor, I decided to have him make some suggestions and choose what I like off those.....but, we'll share, of course! Half the fun of eating out is trying what the others have chosen!

BTW -- the minute his hands lingered on my shoulders while putting my wrap on, I fell off my comfy chair and thudded on the floor. ::rubs backside and sits back down::

I'm getting the eggplant. I love eggplant! But I'm keeping an eye on that waitress who is flirting with Bobby.

But, as long as he pays attention to me, she can flirt all she wants. "I" am the one he asked out on the date, not her. Oh, and if she gives us outstanding table service while flirting with him, then flirt away, sister! Flirt away! "I" know who he's going home with....

He's going home with us?! Oh waitress! Can you tell them to go easy on the garlic, please?

you could accidently let your foot slip out from the table and oops there she goes....... of course it was an accident, if she gets tooo flirty.

Is that going to be one of our choices? To trip her, or maybe to get up and "bump" her on the way to the ladies room?

Nah, cause Bobby only has eyes for us! We don't need to be jealous, if we do that, then he would have to feel sorry for the waitress and pick her up and tend to her wounds.

Now I have to come up with choices for him to suggest. We know Veal, and Eggplant, any suggestions on the third?

How about "Spaghetti and Meatballs" ala "Lady and the Tramp"?

I love spagetti and meatballs, but hard to eat and not make a mess. But then he could laugh and think we look so cute. And give us helpful hints and feed us. hmmmmm. Interesting.

I was thinking more along the lines of sharing the same noodle with him.......
