I just read the best article on who's going to be in the 100th episode on Sept.5th!! I have been trying to figure out how to put the link on here so you can just click it and go there yourself, but I can't seem to do it !! Hopefully, someone can find it and put the link here. It was in today's The Wall Street Journal-MarketWatch- All-Star Guest Cast On-Board When Everyone's Favorite Obsessive-Compulsive Detective MONK Hits Milestone and Solves His 100th Case. Here's who to look forward to!!! Yeah! Brooke Adams as Leigh Harrison the flight attendant; John Turturro as Ambrose; Sarah Silverman as Marci Maven; Tim Bagley as Harold Krenshaw; Jarrad Paul as Kevin Dorfman; Sharon Lawrence as Linda Fusco; Howie Mandel as Ralph Roberts; Andy Richter as Hal Tucker; Ricardo Chavira as Jimmy Belmont(I loved that episode!! of course, what episode don't I love!!);Kathryn Toosten as Monk's former babysitter; David Koechner as Joey Krenshaw; and finally Angela K. as Arlene Boras. Man, this should be great! But wait, no Dale?

I wonder if that would be the baby sitter he had when he was nineteen?

Here is one article on it. Has the cast, etc. Clickable link:

It seems that all you have to do is put (copy/paste) the URL from the browser into this message box, and Presto!, you have a clickable link! (No tags, like [ur l] are needed before or after the URL.)

Very good article. Mentions a lot of returning characters. Part of the article says: "Some of Monk's favorite criminals returning from behind bars are Sharon Lawrence as Stottlemeyer's killer ex-girlfriend Linda Fusco; Andy Richter as Hal Tucker; David Koechner as Joey Krenshaw; Ricardo Chavira as Jimmy Belmont; and Angela Kinsey as Arlene Boras."

Refresh my memory. Who are these Monk characters: Joey Krenshaw, Jimmy Belmont and Arlene Boras?

Oh jeah, Brooke again, i love to see them together smile.gif

Hi Chipe (how do you pronounce that, 'Chip-e', 'Chip?)

Joey Krenshaw is Harold's scrupulous cousin, as seen in the 'Daredevil episode

Jimmy Belmont was the murderer who killed Randy's uncle from the 'Farm' episode

Arlene Boras - I think - was the killer nurse in the 'Naked Man' episode, although I'm not 100% sure. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong!

goodbyegirl, thanks. Pronounced chipEEE. Yes, I just looked here ( http://epguides.com/Monk/ ), and she was in the Naked Man episode.

http://epguides.com/Monk/ is a good web site to bookmark. Makes for a very fast reference resource for "Monk" episodes.

O.K. I guess I don't have the method down pat yet! Here, I'll try again! http://www.upi.com/Entertainment_News/2008...40131216641329/

jo43, yes."You did it! You did it!" Very easy to do, eh? Usually you have to place [p ic] and [/p ic] tags (without the spaces) around the URL, but not on this board. The message board should give a hint (instructions, advice) in this regard. .... ....... .. One thing you did that I never did is place a picture in a post. I just never bothered. I guess I could figure it out. unsure.gif

====================

Treasa, yes I'd also like to see Sharona appear there, and maybe she will as a surprise guest. In a normal, usual situation you would see her; it would be a "slap in the face" otherwise. I REALLY don't want to start a discussion on this here, but I think there was a lot of bad feeling when Bitty left, and money was the least of it. But I don't know, and no one says anything publicly, so why go into it?
jo43
Chipe, Thank you! Yes, I can't believe HOW easy it is!! I don.t want to say how LONG I was wishing I knew how to do it!!!lol Thanks, again!

Look at it this way; it means then they're saving her for something even bigger and better (unless they indend to surprise us and don't want to release her participation openly). And if nothing else, we'll probably get a good indication here of how Monk feels at this moment in time about everything; whether he harbors any bitterness or still secretly pines for her company or perhaps some emotion we wouldn't even expect.

Where's Bitty????????

**************
How can you have an interview video without consulting his former nurse and aid?
history08
I am very excited about this episode!! It sounds like it is going to be great! I also wanted Bitty Schram to guest star.
LIMAMA1956
It does seem odd, maybe Bitty's schedule couldn't permit it.
CrystalSmith
Sharona, Trevor and Benjy were on vacation and they weren't available for interview...someone will write a fanfic about it, I'm sure.
Randysgirl
I'm hoping this episode is as good if not better than I think it will be! I am VERY excited to see that Ambrose will finally be back (although I am still very upset that he wasn't included when Adrian saw his father)!!! I vaguely remember reading that Bitty decided not to participate in the 100th episode. My husband told me just the other day that they should bring back Sharona because she and Adrian played off each other so well. I told him that from what I've heard, that will never happen. Although (and I'm sorry this is about the 5,000th time this has been brought up), I am still not clear on why she left in the first place. I think it was a contract dispute, but she must not have left on good terms, because she's hardly even mentioned on the show. Even though I love Natalie and some of my favorite episodes have included her, It's still a shame that Sharona isn't around anymore.

Are all those returning guest stars actually returning "in person" or will some of them be seen in clips from the episode they were in?

I can't wait until Friday September 5th! Adrian's solves his 100th case! I can't wait to see John Turturro as Ambrose and Sarah Silverman as Marci Maven again. They are just fabulous! My only disapointment is that we won't get to see Bitty Shram as Sharona. What a let down.
jo43
I know, that's so sad. I was so looking forward to seeing Sharona! Darn!

Yeah that would be ...great if she came back. It would interesting to see the two assistants to argue with each other and react to the other but alas it won't happen.
MonknNatalie
I am really looking forward to 100th episode, more than any other this season. Though Monk gets hypnotized sounds like it will be really good also. Though I'm disapointed Sharona won't be on 100th epi. I would love to see Sharona and Natalie meet face to face, I think it would be interesting. Also, how do you interview people in Monk's past without interviewing Sharona. Oh well, i'm still looking forward to it.

I would assume that they'll be in person. According to what I know about TV credits, a Guest Star means that they are physically present. Any old episodes do not require the actor's permission and therefore they would credite them as "archive footage". The fact that they post their names indicates that we should see these people in new footage, not parts of old episodes.

She wanted a combo of more money an more of a bigger role which to be honest she already had too big enough role in the first place.

Thanks for the links, seems like a great episode smile.gif
