Just realized I might be giving credit to the wrong person, When this mess started, I also sent a message to bellsouth, that I wasn't recieving mail from USA. So maybe those who aren't getting the new password email, need to contact your email provider. Ok going back to bed, not feeling well today.

When I read you were back, I had to try mine. Hot diggety dog. It worked. I am back too but I am now a different user name. I think I like the other user name better and I like the other siggy better so I will be working on some things tonight but, yay, my post count is back. Thank you admin.

Probably for the same reason I can't get cifan70 back. We were both members of NBC forums at some point whether for a few minutes, hours or a year and they merged NBC with USA and we got NBC's user name instead of USA's. I want my cifan70 back. I hate janpop4. I know why I picked it, I just don't like it.

I tried a few years back to join NBC forum, they never sent me the email, guess I was lucky, lol.

You were very lucky. I only joined NBC because I was a huge Crossing Jordan fan. How could I have know it was gonna be canceled.

I still can't get in under OliviaFan, no matter what I try, so I gave up today and created a new account with my youtube name, but if I ever can I'd love to be good old OF again, that was my name over a year and a half and stupid as it sounds I'd like to get it back.

Not to mention that I'd rather have my old name on my email account instead of this new one on my parents email!

I tried to join the NBC forum as well shortly before I joined USA. I never did get an e-mail message back to validate the account. However, it appears that the attempt may still be what screwed me up in the so called upgrade. When I am attempting to register a new account using my old e-mail address and click yes to merging with the previous account, I get an error message saying I didn't validate the previous account so I can't get any further with it. I'll keep trying but I'm beginning to think it's a hopeless cause.

So just for fun I went to the NBC board to see if I could get in. It took about 30 minutes and I had to get a new password, but I got in. So NBC recognizes my e-mail address, but USA doesn't . But I discovered something shocking. There no longer seems to be a LOCI message board over there. It has just disappeared. There is Warren Leight's "live blog" from before season 6 began, but no message board that I could find. How sad.

Good news, though, is that on the USA Character Arcade there is a whole thread dedicated to obtaining illegal drugs. And the people posting there have 30 to 70 something posts to their names. Evidently USA has no problem recognizing their e-mail addresses.

And WHAT??? I just checked over at the Arcade, that's sick! What the heck is USA waiting for???

I don't think administration exsist anymore. We are all alone!

I love your username, bp! Oh, you don't want to log out/sign out. That happened to me on my laptop, but I did the whole "register" thing, using the email and password I signed up with, and it worked and now I'm back on laptop as well as desktop.

Bubba has logged on recently, I don't think that he comes around very much because it gets kind of chaotic and stuff around here.

yeah but he lost his original nic, the one with all the post, he had to start over, as a newbie, with a dash in the middle.

I registered. But I always have to Log in twice because it never accepts my username and password.

I solved the problem.

The board logged me out when I came over just a minute ago. I was mad and wanted to get in, so I tried the password option but it said it didn't recognize my email address. Therefore I decided to register again so I could PM Admin (for all the good it would do). I figured since it said it didn't have my email address I'd use the one I normally use for this sort of thing.

It said "You may already be registered with MyNBC. Do you want to merge your information?"

I said yes & clicked next. New screen: "Please confirm your password if you already have an account."

Entered it, clicked next. Confirmation or main screen can't recall.

Problem solved.

So anyone who still can't get in: Try re-registering with the email address you first signed up with.

I will be PMing Bubba with this too.

I NEVER sign out...my pc signed me out once and I lost all my information and had to start all over here...I was able, a month later, to get back in...but I suggest NOT signing out just to be safe!

fm and KimT are right.....the one time I did log out after the "up"grade, I had to sign back in by asking for a new password.....even though I knew I was putting in the right one. Now I don't log out at all, to play it safe.

HELP- hubby deleted my cookies on my laptop and now I can only get on at work during lunch (of course) !

hello everyone.. and goodbye as well.. this is my last post here.. and i'm having to go through andy to get here. i'm not going to boar you with all the trials and tribulations i have been through in order to get back here.. but.. as alot of you have noticed.. there is absolutely no help coming from admin or anyone else at USA... i consider the board admin and USA.com in general as non caring, superficial, and out and out liars.. when the upgrade was announced it was suppose to be oh so easy to get back on.. very simple.. just type in your email.. well we all know how that was...also .. when you click *help*.. you are lead to believe they will get back to you no later than 72 hours.. well.. we all know how that went too. the best thing that could have happened is everyone leave and go elsewhere til they fixed this mess.. well i am not naive enough to believe that ever would happen.. no blame here... it's hard to leave your friends in the fear of never getting back.. i know.. that's what's happened to me... oh i was able to post a couple of times.. but that didn't last long.. now i'm on the outside looking in again.. and i'm done with it.. i will miss you all.. but actually.. i don't want to be associated with this board(the higher ups.. not you guys) anymore...even if i could get back on.. i wouldn't.. i'm done.
i do want to say i am glad to hear that jyran and flashymom are ok after the storms.. stay safe.. you know Ike is still moving in... i'll especially miss trivia.. loved playing..
