Yes, he really is a great husband. What he didn't tell anyone is that when I got home from work last night (he knew I had a killer headache), he had a bath all ready for me with some of those aromatherapy oils in it. While I soaked he made supper. Then I laid around all evening while he kept bringing me cold washcloths to lay over my eyes. When I woke up this morning there was a note on the nightstand telling me not to eat breakfast until he came back. He and our neightbor played tennis at 6:00 this morning. When he got home his hair was wet and he smelled like chlorine so I knew they went to his parents to cool off. Anyway, he made me breakfast!

Yes, Andy is really a great husband. BTW, my headache was gone when I woke up.

Angela, I just dropped in to leave an invitation to the party. But then I read your post. I used to get migraines and the kindness and understanding of my hubby made it bearable. It brings real tears to my eyes to hear of how your husband cares for you and accepts that the pain is real. Good to hear of positive love.

Who cares??? We know who our friends are here and who is glad we are back, thats all that counts.

Just a note. My dad had some kind of seizure today. The ambulanced him, unconscious, to the hospital. They are doing tests. His potassium was very low and they gave him IV's. He is awake and alert...no sign of stroke. I may not be here often, until we know whats going on. Any prayers would be greatly appreciated. his name is Tom. Thanks guys.

I hope and pray the tests will give ya'll some answers. My son has a sleep-onset seizure disorder; he should outgrow it by the time he's 18. It's still scary. Hopefully this will lead your Dad to get lots of tests done and take really good care of himself so he can hang around longer and enjoy his family for a lot longer. Prayers from me!

I got an email yesterday from ImagineJL......she can't get onto the boards now either. Some "up"grade! I sent the webmaster an email about it per her request, but from what I can see from others, don't hold your breath on it.

KimT, thinking and praying for you and your dad......I'm hoping that the seizure was only due to his low potassium level.
My brother has seizure disorder too....diagnosed in 1994, no tonic-clonic (grand mal) seizure since 1997. Like FM says, it's scary, but hopeful that your dad (and you) come through this.

They are not sure why he had the seizure, maybe it was the potassium level. Honestly he does not take good care of himself. I love him to death...but he smokes and drinks too much and doesnt eat right. They are going to do tests. Thank you for your kind thoughts.



Jryan...I got back into my old account!!!!! I got a message this morning to my regualer email addy, saying I have a PM. Of course I couldnt check it since that isnt my account now...so I thought WTF, signed out and signed back in, went through the whole shibang as before, got 4 emails from usa to get my new password, which of course wouldnt work since my email was already being used, did the whole merge account thing as suggested by someone here, still didnt work, kept clicking the box and putting in my old password and email...and all of the sudden it jumped to the next page and let me back in...now I have to change my sig, since i like the new one better...but I think I am back in the old for...for now...:::crosses fingers:::...maybe you should try again?

Hey. All right, jryan62, will you stop lamenting long enough to listen to me? I told you in another post that your sister, jryan, is safe and sound. She is staying with Angie and me. And to make matters worse...ur.....better I mean, bug is here too. I"ve promised them both they can stay here until they can get back on. But believe me it ain't no picnic around here. They are starting to get on my one last nerve. Fighting and arguing over which eppy to watch on the TV. Fighting over who gets to use the upstairs bathroom. Wailing and crying over their lost forum. Geez...they're more work than when our 2-1/2 year old nephew and 5-1/2 month niece come to stay.

Today is the first time I had to deal with the log-in fiasco. What a pain in the butt! It said my email was not legit, yet when I tried to “register” I was supposedly already on the NBC site. I don’t remember ever using the NBC site. I screwed around with it and tried to login a couple times to USA site and suddenly I was accepted with the same screen name! I don’t get it. Nothing has really improved on the USA site!

Well use msn or Yahoo it's better. (Or gmail,) (I only have one aol and frankly I don't really use it)

But some can't get in even with yahoo. or other emails. I can't go back and use yahoo in the past to get my old nic back.

That happened to ImagineJL too, even though she had a yahoo addy before the "up"grade.

I am not sure that is the only issue...but I wish they would figure it out.

Well I tried to create an acct at NBC.com thinking well if I could get a password there, then I could merge the two acct. Well I can't get email from them either. Oh well.

I still haven't had to log in. But every time I report a spammer, I thank Admin for the down...I mean upgrade that has locked out faithful members and good friends without slowing the spammers down a bit.

I know you can't PM them cause their box is full, so they either aren't reading their PMs or they are filling up as fast as they are reading them. But aren't answering them. I have emailed them from my Yahoo acct. but no answer. It would seem they could just post a message in each forum that they are aware of the problem. But hey I'm not as smart as them, so I guess they think they know better.

I just had a thought, maybe they don't speak english?

Maybe Jane Emily or Neu or Waldkind could help us, in that case. Or Oldgoalie. I understand he speaks 5,378 languages. Well, at least he knows how to say "Kathryn is hot" in that many languages. So maybe he won't be able to help after all.
