you think?

yup!
Now, is it just showing on my computer, or is there a Chinese-apprearing symbol on Goren's forehead in the top picture?

No, it is not just your computer. I looked it up and it is either a backwards "good looking" or a forward "jade" missing a stroke. That is if it is Chinese. If it Japanese, then it means "king" or "ruler". Boy, I have no life during summer break, how many days is it until school starts again.

Hi People:

Over the years, there have been many modern-day Sherlock Holmeses. What makes Criminal Intent so much more ambitious is that it's a modern-day retelling of the Sherlock Holmes saga.

Yes so i believe i have heard this quite abit from other forums because it is unfortunatley that i cannot remember much of Sherlock Holmes its apity because i would have liked to have seen some of the series

What do you think of this? I wrote it a week or two ago with the pandering (so I thought) title Shippers rejoice!, but didn't get even one response.

If it is safe to assume from what has happened so far that the pattern laid out in the sherlock holmes stories are going to continue to influence events, well, at this point in those stories Holmes and Watson were about to move in with each other.

Ooh, I love Kanji. You are absolutely right, teach, it does look like the symbol for king, but the middle line should be smaller than the others. It could also be enclosed in a box with a dash under it. Goren is king so it makes sense tongue.gif

Actually, chimera and I were talking about it on the 100 Reasons to Ship Thread if you want to check it out, butteredparsnips. I don't think people replied to your thread because we didn't want to bump up more new threads (though I still don't know why JRyan's "hair" thread is still up...)

Thanks
&
Jryan writes to herself a lot. I overheard her talking to someone about it. Something about feeling a duty to keep stuff on page 1 while her usual co-conspirators were on vacation? Something like that. Hey, can't exactly complain about the strategy. I've used it myself. I wrote to Comparative Hotness three times; combined with the three complaints sent by Jryan (?!), that kept it up long enough to be read by a few people who felt like responding. Then I let it die.
