Here's Mike's I look good gif. Wanted to post it again, because he surely does look good:

I'm torn between which one I like better, the "I look good" moment with Michael or that clip of Bruce Campbell running from the boat explosion in the season finale last year. I reeeeeally loved that moment - BC looking so all over the place, sporting that Tommy Bahama shirt of his; and Michael looking sleek and smooth and streamlined, dressed from head to toe in black. Then the camera freezes on the two of them - LOL LOL LOL!!!! I thought to myself, how on earth can JD come across as so funny but sexy and serious all at once?! And BC - there simply are no words for that bit of acting he did in that scene. Wonderful, wonderful stuff, that season finale!!

Anyway, thank you for the clips, Vestokes! I thought I'd head over here to get the info on how to put up an avatar, how to figure out what I'm doing with the animated gifs thingy. I'm not very creative artistically, though - I'd need to be an artiste to put these things together, like those talented folks with the wallpapers and you guys with these gifs.

I have no idea how to make these things! They are cool! So I have a request if anyone has the time or inclination. I would love an animated gif of the scene in Broken Rules where Fiona punches Mike in the face as he tries to steal her purse. That is my all time favorite moment on the show! Cracks me up everytime.

YES!!!! That scene with Fiona, along with the ones immediately before and after it - that's actually my favorite moment in the entire BN series! And how earlier Fiona had talked to Sam about his "lady friend" troubles, where she tells him that what Veronica really wants from Sam is to know who he is and where she stands in his life (upon which Fiona realizes she's talking about herself with respect to Michael, so she backs off a bit and says, "Uhhh, something like that, anyway.") *LOL*

Anyway...so after Fi and Sam have set up their recon/tactical positions, we're wondering where Michael is, right? Well...

[camera pans slowly up along the shoe shine stand, revealing black paso doble boots, tight black jeans, a western wear shirt imprinted with roses, lots of silver and leather jewelry, and Michael Westen, rocking back and forth to a tune heard only in his mind and wearing some sort of eye makeup]

[although really, truly - you all *know* this LOL emoticon just doesn't do the moment justice]

Then there's the whole lead-up to the Fiona moment - Michael's gestures toward Diego, his downing of the Cuban espresso and casting the cup away, ALL of that was amazing! And then came the moment where Michael approached Fiona. That entire interchange between Michael and Fi was fantastic! I loved how she continued punching him in an attempt to keep her purse - and how after she relented we watch Michael strut triumphantly away from her with the purse, and then we get that glimpse of Fiona in the car. That look on her face was PRICELESS!! That look of indignance on her face - that look of, "my ex-boyfriend won't even talk to me or tell me where things stand between us."

And *just* when I thought I'd composed myself - that's when Michael returns to his loft to find that Agent Bly, who says one of the best lines in the entire series: "Well, Michael Westen, you look fabulous!" And Michael just walks by all breezy and casual in that insanely sexy outfit and says something to the effect of, "Yeah, well that's the great thing about being between jobs, I can wear what I like." Guys, I COMPLETELY lost it. I actually had to pause the show so I could attempt to gather my wits about me, LOL!!! It was in that moment where I knew without any doubt that I was hopelessly addicted to BN. What a phenomenal bit of writing, acting, set design, wardrobe, *everything* was flawlessly funny, irreverent, amazing in these scenes! Anyway, sorry for the tome, guys - I just had to gush about this.

Oooh, thank you so much, GetBurned! Say, do you think you might be able to make one of these animated gif thingys of that moment when Michael is getting his boots shined? And maybe the moment when Agent Bly tells him he looks fabulous? I don't mean to impose, forgive me if I am...I just love this scene so much and I couldn't help but ask - but please don't feel you must if it's a lot of work or anything. I've really enjoyed all the ones that have been posted here thus far!

That was a great episode all around. And Mike did look hot! But then when doesn't he? When he went to take Fi's purse & she punched him square in the face over & over before giving it up I just lost it! I admit I watch that episode over & over just for that scene.
