I really liked he first wave of the cartoons. Great plots, fun ideas, lots of buff music and effects. The new cartoon I just saw last night in the premiere of the new series really really sucked bad. Now you guys are gettin' violent with swollen eyes and stuff... And there is this loud humming through the cartoon . I also think somethin' happened to Gus's voice Its more like he's got a bad cold, or his voice is changin.

Yo Dude!. I totally agree wit you. Bad karma, Bad writing, Bad noises. I also got that hummin soundz. Give it up and get rid of the cartoons and the "ouch" pain and swellin'-LAst go aroun they got into trouble, but no swollen bloody eye.
No more Cartoon for me.. I am headin for the kitchen or bathroom when they come on.

Yea, i think you're right, i actually never liked those mini cartoons, I'd rather watch the short segments of shawn and gus as kids at the begining of the actual show instead of a cartoon during the commercials.

Nahhhhh! I think those "Adventures of young Shawn & Gus" cartoons are stupid.

I agree that the real kids are better than these lame looking and sounding cartoons- They take away from the short flashback as kids at the beginning of the show. I thought the cartoon was Te-rri-ble. They were better last season. (I hope Big Daddy Steve Franks did not write the new cartoons!) I also got this loud humming sound only when the cartoon was playing and had to lower the volume til the cartoon was over. The effects really stoopid and the music was nurdy.

Yeah, the animation has to go, even if it is from one of their major underwriting sponsors (Alltel, that is).

On the other hand, I wouldn't mind seeing a Terry Gilliam-style animated short with Shawn and Gus - that could even be funny...

I like the animation style. I think the plots, the music and the sound are terrible! (Ok, horrible). Its draggin' the show down . The first series at least was better than this amateurish crapola.

do you know why they put them right before the commercials??? so you wont miss anything if you Change The Channel!!! seriously...if you guys hate them so much you dont have to watch them and i dont see how this lil cartoon short is "dragging the show down" it's not vital to the plot of the show meaning you can Change The Channel...you catch my drift...it would be differnet if they stuck them into the middle of the show where it was like a mini hiatus and if you Changed The Channel you would risk missing something but its not and they're not MANDATORY to watch so in summation...CHANGE THE CHANNEL!!!

At least you can watch you Psych episode on tv I have to look for this stuff online. The online cartoon of Shawn and Gus seem the same to me.

I loved the old Shawn and Gus Cartoons and I do think they were better in the past but I still enjoy seeing them during the commercal breaks. I don't think it's draggin the show down. I thought that the one shown this week during Daredevils! was actually a funny "Big Adventure of Little Shawn and Gus".

hahaha i was thinking the same thing. i think they are getting worse (i havent seen the one after daredevils yet) but its not like ppl are gonna stop watching psych if they don't like them!
