unsure.gif I am new to Psych and quickly catching up on everything. However, I have not been able to figure out something. Is there a special meaning to the pineapple? or does James just have a thing for pineapples?

The pineapple in Psych is like the Superman in Seinfeld - somewhere, in every episode, it is there. At first it may just seem like one of Shawn's little idiosyncracies, but once you start looking for it, it's really unique how they manage to fit it in to every episode (even something as small as having someone open a fridge and having it be on a shelf).

Welcome to the world of Psych!!!!! Your just in time for the third season!! smile.gif

In the Pilot episode when Shawn was talking to Gus at his house and telling him to get dressed he says, "should I cut some up for the road?" and he holds up a pineapple. James Roday actually ad libbed that and just picked up the pineapple that happened to be on the set of Gus's house. Ever since then it has become the inside joke that they try to put in every single episode. I love it!!
