I'm a huge LOCI fan, as all of you but, look at the new drama shows out now, Saving Grace, The Closer, NCIS, etc. Mr. Wolf and the writers, IMO, need to step it up with more action and excitement. More surprises are a must to keep the veiwers on the edge of their seats! Snazz it up with Bobby and Eames, even Ross! By no means am I down grading LOCI but, come on, cut it lose with drastic measures! Let's here what our forum thinks. SVU is beating up on us, let's stop it!
Okay,. before I reply, just let me say i also am a big SVU fan. i like that show a lot, but LOCI is what I mostly watch. They do have a good thing going for them, but I do not visit the SVU thread much...once or twice is about it, when the CI was off on strike. That can be a scary place sometimes, the forum there....I just lurked and got nervous..lol.
I think LOCI is more a thinking-persons cop show. I love it the way it is. I like the whole who-dunit aspects, how they tease us with little clues, how you catch little things yourself and want to say to the television...hey look, he just(yadayada, you add the clue here).....how the detectives figure things out and catch the perps. I like the new episodes showing a bit more of the character insight, I liked the old ones for the way they got into all the crimes scenes and dealt with the suspects. I think they are improving, growing, learning and changing the show. The characters are doing these things as well, which should keep the ball rolling and keep things fresh and with the addition of a new detective to the line-up, i think they are going in the right direction to keep viewers happy and interested. They ARE being filmed as actual NYC happenings...mostly...so how many blow up scenes would NYC survive if these were "real" crimes? I understand where you are coming from and what you are trying to say. I know you are a big fan, as much as the rest of us and want to keep our show up there in ratings and all. I don't need a lot of bang, boom...to keep me happy and keep me watching. I sometimes think there is too much of that out there already. JMO.

Hi Bubba here, I think we are doing okay in the ratings. If it ain't broke, don't fix it, right?
I have said that for years, about so many things...maybe I am not good with change, but my great grandmother said that a lot and I do tend to agree with it. Sometimes so called "improvements" just ruin the original aspects of the product.
