We have decided to chat every Friday night before new episodes. I hope more people can join us next week! It's unfortunate I had to set the room to private to keep out spammers, but that's the way it is. I don't like having to get nasty with people (I really hope that wasn't truly a 10 year old kid), but you don't spam us man!!

Ok, will someone please help this computer-illiterate old person???
I tried to sign into the chat room.....Is it only accepting peoples while the show is actually on???
I have AIM, and have for quite some time now. But, when I try to "log on" at the chat room, it does nothing. I click on what I think are the appropriate spots---username, logon, etc---and nothing happens.
Please tell me what I'm doing wrong. I want to join in the fun. I'll share my chocolate and everything. I'll even play nice, if I have to.

If you have AIM and your internet is connected, you shouldn't even have to log on to Meebo. Does it take you to the chat room at all?

You should just be able to go in, when you start typing an entry, then it will ask you if you want to create a screen name......

I missed the BN one last night...BUMMER!!! But I'll try to come on tonight, depending on what tonight turns into....

I just tested it. Click on this direct link mjwannabe posted last time: Direct to the room
It asks for the password. It's monkrules100. Then you should get the room but you'll be listed at right as a guest. Type something into the box in the bottom and it will then put up a little box asking if you'd like to change your user name. You'd type memebeck in there. Your first post will still say guest but then on the screen, it will say you're now known as whatever username you typed in. All the rest of your posts will show your username and you won't be "guest" in the room list anymore.

Me and Bflo are in there now. Hopefully meme will be able to join.

I tried, nothing happened. This Norton Antivirus came on , I got rid of that. It said it would install in 2 min. it never did.

I think it's flashplayer--Adobe maybe. I hope you can get in. If not today, can you see if your son can install it? Maybe Norton or a firewall is blocking the download? There's about 10 people in there now--almost all the good seats are taken. lol. Try a different download site.

Is your browser firefox? Supergirl said she couldn't get flash using the firefox browser.

Yes it is Adobe flashplayer. Still can`t get in. I will try to get one of my kids to install by next week. Have a nice chat.

Have you tried getting in? You can keep trying during the week before Friday gets here. Did your kids look at your pc yet to see what the problem is?

MJ I will go to the chat room at about 7:30.

Did I tell you what happened last week? I was flying down the highway in Indiana, and arrived at my hotel at 8:54. I flashed past the front desk, grabbed a key, ran to my room and turned on the TV.

And I didn't miss a line! I still had to go get my luggage after Monk was over! LOL. This is a first for me!

As I recall, me and Bflogal got there around 6pm. There were about 5 of us in there by 6:30 By the time the show started, there was around 12 or so people in the room. My times could be off, but then I have total recall of all things imaginary, so correct me anyone if I'm wrong. I was trying to get in there around 6 since I had to take off at 8 for an hour for my walk.

I think I checked in about 6pm last week -- just to make sure I could get in, and there were already people there.

The chat early was the most fun for me -- that's actually when we had more people logged in. I had trouble concentrating on the chat during the episode. (I caught up during the commercials) and it cleared out pretty fast afterward.

Okay I'll check in about 6-6:30 to see if anyone is there. I am glad to hear several people showed up last week.

Can't promise a time (seems early, are we talking Eastern or Pacific?), but I'll try to hop on in too

I was talking Central. I think I will start earlier - 5:30? It that right?

Let's see 5:30 Central time is 6:30 Eastern time right? So that would be correct. (why can't we all just live in the same time zone, then we wouldn't have this problem ).

You really want people on the west coast to go to work at what would today be considered 5<?>AM!!!!!? well, I suppose the upside would be they would also get out at 2PM.....guess it's how you look at it

I think MJ was envisioning a new country - Monkland - where all the fans could meet and be in the same time zone.

I wonder what that would be like?

1. All the roads would be perpendicular to each other and labeled logically!

2. It would utilized the metric system, and items including eggs and doughnuts would be sold in units of 10.

3. There would be a chicken pot pie in every pot (at least on Tuesday).
