I don't think we've seen the detectives cribs have we? (Except maybe Logan's.....) I'm wondering, for example, what Bobby's apartment would look like. I doubt very much he's living in Manhattan on a cop's salary; probably da Bronx. I imagine his place is very spare and functional, as he doesn't spend much time there (unless he's on suspension...) His living has one big leather couch and a recliner/rocker (which he probably falls asleep in more times than his own bed.) Maybe a few replicas of some famous art pieces on the walls, and I'm going to go for the obvious and predict that he'd have every square inch of available space filled with IKEA-style bookcases, overflowing with books, and books and magazines stacked in every spare space. He probably has only a small tv and dvd player which he rarely watches, except maybe for the news and the Discovery channel...and the bookshelves, along with being stuffed with books, also have all kinds of interesting knickknacks, globes, statuettes, souvinirs of his many travels....
His bedroom is very neat, with only one personal photo of his mother, a queen sized bed, and nice wooden furniture, maybe mission style, very spare. And two more bookcases filled with books....but these are his night time reading, no criminalogy or psychology books here, this is where he stashes the novels, the best sellers that lull him to sleep....
His kitchen is the only surprise in the place--we find out that it's surprisingly well stocked and that Bobby loves to cook!
Anyone want to add anything or take a stab at another of the detectives?

Eames' snappy little crib was shown to us during the episode "BLINDSIDE". It had a laneway for her white Honda and a side entrance off said laneway. There was a small room just inside the door to put your shoes and jackets and this opened out to a small living room where she had her bird named Polly. This was all they showed to us before she was knocked out and kidnapped. (I can tell you she also has a small kitchen, laundry room, and two bedrooms.......and how do I know this......c'mon....you know why.....because.....I promised her I wouldn't tell and I'm going to stick to my word.....sorry......but I can tell you that the kitchen table was once.......Alexandra?......were you standing behind me all this time?......)

Actually, the episode was called Blindspot (or do they have different names in other places?) Eames has a pretty place, sad we didn't get to see more of it...(but we can count on oldgoalie to tell us more if Alex lets him...

) Goren's place looked a little messy in Amends, but at least they showed some of it. I guess we won't ever see Logan's place since he's leaving. They show a lot of Danny's relatives and things so they might show where he lives.

That's what I meant about only seeing some of it. Maybe they'll show more of it later because they did.

I'm so sorry I gave the wrong name for the episode.....I hope all of you don't think any less of me....(most of my friends say there isn't much of a chance of that).....I am now reconsidering if I am worthy to keep posting on this forum because of such a grievous error or whether I should just accept the inevitable and start posting on the SHIPPERS forum "So you want to be a member of the band AIR SUPPLY?".......was my transgression THAT bad?....you all be the judge!....plus in what episode were they in Logan's apartment?...I usually only watch episodes with Alexandra in them.....

I think listening to 100 hours of Airsupply should be sufficient penance. Unless Alex has something else in mind.
I'm not sure we've ever seen inside Logan's apartment, just out in the hallway in Renewal. I will have to think about what his apartment would look like. And yes, there is a thread about Goren's place, but I think it's nice to speculate about how the rest of the crew live, too.

And for books, I think he pleasure reading runs more to historical fictions or scientific exploration... he's one of those guys who reads a book called "Winter of the Patriarchs" for fun. I don't think you'll find alot of bestsellers like Patterson or Grisham. I see Bobby as a fan of Mozart. Both are more intelligent than their peers, both have women problems (Mozart was a womanizer, Bobby has a stalker), and both are VERY handsome. So I can see Bobby with the complete works of Mozart playing The Magic Flute while cooking some Manicotti and Marinara sauce and stirring in just the right amount of Italian Red Wine. Oh Yeah!

The truth is, the only way anyone can pull off a plaid couch is if they go for the whole country or amaricana look. What are the odds Mikey likes ducks with little gingham caps?
I gotta go with leather. Battered leather to go with the coffe table scarred from his feet being up on it all the time.

The only thing that got me in "Blindspot" was the way Alex's house was decorated. It was a little country/Americana. There is nothing wrong with that, but not at all like how I pictured Alex's house to be decorated. I see here with warm tones, yet clean, classic lines.
I have already discussed my take on Bobby's place on the other thread posted here, but it's classic, libraryesque.
Logan seems to be classic bachelor. Black leather furniture or the mismatched pieces he has managed to collect over the years. His place would most likely be small, since the only real function is to sleep and maybe entertain a lady here or there. Not much in the way of personal effects would be displayed since Logan doesn't have much stock in that. If there where personal items shown, they would most likely be from his days on the force.
Wheeler is a little harder to picture. She is not a girly gir nor does she seem to be the type that would be into anything too stark.

I see Alex's taste the same way, but I'll bet the more country stuff she got from her relatives. She comes from a large blue collar family. They aren't the types of folks who throw out perfectly good furniture. I think she's just too practical to get rid of a good couch just because it didn't quite fit her decorating scheme.

Off the top of my head, I'm going to go with mostly a clean, tailored look in light neutrals with a few country french pieces here and there that she picked up in Europe.

Yeah, I think it would be cool if he had a really huge collection of music to go along with his book collection that we all assume he has. A really eclectic musical collection would fit the character.
But I bet he's also a classic rock nut, (because its the best...) because there was an episode in an early season where they were talking to a little girl named Jennifer and he said "Jennifer Juniper'..your mom ever call you that?" and then in FPS he made a reference to Lennon, McCartney, and Yoko. (That totally made my day!) So thats what I'm betting.
I'm guessing he also has every kind of music player imagineable, a record player, a tape deck, a stereo, ipod....
