Season 10 story:
Goren, Eames, and Moore are up against a lot of odds this coming season...as a new face enters Major Case, new "villains" that will go to the extremes, and one of the greatest L&O partnerships is now seperated and is going to be hard to put back as well as avengeing a detective's death.
Goren and Eames were investagated by Internal Affairs throughout the ninth season because of their actions: breaking several rules to staged a crime scene to capture a elusive killer back in season 8's Redo and breaking other rules to get a unsolved case as a major staple in their case back in season 9's Friction. And their actions results to their partnership for now, disbanded. The end of their finale leads to them going their seprate ways.
In this season, Goren and Eames are going to face new challenges such as new partners and each struggling to find a way to bring their partnership back. At the end of Logan and Moore's finale, Logan is shot to death by his own friend, Johnny Carradine. The gang especially Moore does not know about the killer, but this season coming she will continue to find out who killed Logan...and to even the odds all out is Trip Simms, a Special Investagtior turned detective because of a 2-year undercover case; Simms will get his chance as he is partnered up with Eames as Moore's partner is Goren. Moore insists that she needs Goren to help her find Logan's killer, yet he doubts it as he tries to find a way to bring Eames back as his partner. There are going to be a lot of switching partners this season.
Old faces from season's past makes reappearances including the long-awaited return of Goren's nemesis, Nicole Wallace.

10.01 Modus Operandi(G/E/M)
Goren, Eames, and Moore pays tribute to Logan during his funreal, yet Johnny Carradine, Logan's former friend and his true killer, also arrives not suspecting anyone what happened between him and Logan. As Major Case heals from one of their own loss, Goren is assigned to the murder of a criminalogist and without Eames to back him up Ross assigns Moore as his new partner. Goren continues to doubt about Eames as Moore wants to find out who killed Logan.
10.02 Implicated (E/S)
Eames's first case without Goren as her main partner is the case of a diva taking sucidial medicine and taking a deadly overdose; Det. Trip Simms, Logan's replacement, arrives and is instantly paired up with Eames to find the real reason why the diva died, but their case turns to all-time twist as several of her personal friends are possible suspects--especially when the detectives learn she hurts the people she loved.
