Over on The Reel site they have an interview with Dick Wolf written by Bill Keveney for USA Today, makes for interesting reading. For anyone fearing the death of Logan, relax Wolf say's he doesn't leave in a body bag, but he leaves in what Wolf describes as a '' soul-searching episode''. Wolf also thinks he say's'' I can always see him coming back. How shall I put it ? He's not the prodical son, he's the wandering son''.So rest easy Logan fans he leaves on good terms but he leaves alive.
Great! I'm glad to read that. TY cat lady.

Look, I've said this over at the "Last Rights" thread but I'll say it again--I loved Logan before I even heard of Robert Goren. Yes, Bobby stole my love right out from under him, but I never stopped caring, thought his relationship with Wheeler was sweet, respected his work even though he disagreed with Bobby's methods. I liked this character. But, I think he should have died.
The man deserves a hero's funeral. This is Mike Logan, the epitome of a hero. Also, people have grown up with this man, I know I have, and part of loving a character sometimes is mourning his loss through death. Believe me I know this the hard way. How would watching reruns be harder, knowing his fate was ultimately a hero's fate? I just don't get it. And yeah, unless they hook Bobby up with his soul-mate and he has a family and retires, I want a hero's end for him too.
You don't have to die to be a hero. Personally, I'm glad that he isn't being killed off. Just on the off chance they do something big (no idea really what something big would be lol) when the original ends the door is open for Logan to make an appearance. Also because he always seems lonely and a little sad I can imagine that he is out there somewhere happier and no longer alone.
