I didn't get a chance to say this when it first aired because my account got screwed up by USA but I loved this episode! It was so funny! It was nice to see Shawn so supportive to Gus. And Gus being so brave ("Fearless Guster is a badass!" or something like that). And I love the ending with Shawn's mom. I have been waiting for a scene like that since we saw Shawn freak out when he saw his dad dating someone in the first season. Seeing Shawn and Madeline's relationship in action was so interesting. And Shawn was practically in tears talking with his mom at the end. It was so sweet and sad, such a wonderful scene. I watched the episode again the same night because it was so good.

Loved the premiere, loving Psych this season!

I liked this first episode of Season 3. The opening credits are great and figuring which episode they are cut from. Shawn's long hair was great and the goth girl was a hoot. Lassie and his mustasche was funny. I liked Gus backpedaling about the carrier pigeons and the VP's grandmother. The "Shawn don't go boneless!!!" and I carried you on my taxes-GREAT. I also loved the homage to When a Stranger calls "The call is coming from within the house." I am glad the Shawn/Juliet thing is on the backburner, too weird since they are really dating. I did not like Cybil Shepard, I really wanted to because I loved Moonlighting. Cybil and Corbin have no chemistry. Cybil has a lot of weird facial grimances. I am looking forward to the remainder of the season.

i hate to have to agree but i think it was there in ep two maybe they just had to fall into their nitch...idk but thas the only halfway negative with a silvery gold lining comment i have or ever will for psych =)

I guess I didn't think much of those two either in the first episode, but I thought they had great chemistry in the second episode! Shawn and her on the other hand I thought had great chemistry during the premiere. They were nice and affectionate with each other during all their scenes. They seemed so close. It was nice.
