Michael Cole is already the butt of jokes backstage @ RAW.

Vince McMahon was furious because when Cole got the cue from the producer to take the last commercial during the Fatal Four-Way match on RAW last week, he said something like "We have to take our final break. The match rolls on." This would be acceptable on SmackDown because it's a taped show and there's no pretense that a finish could take place during a break but on RAW, while a finish never happens during a break, they want to treat it like a shoot. The Chairman of World Wrestling Entertainment said that what Cole did tells people the finish couldn't take place during the break as he feels it told people the show is a work, therefore it disconnects the viewers from the match being a temporary escape treated as being real. People were saying how Jim Ross never made that mistake.
