This will raise an additional $40 for the Imus Ranch.


If you're interested in copies of the other two scripts, you need to contact directly the posters who bought them. Mandeville has Mr Monk and the Three Julies. Theresa has Mr Monk and the Daredevil. I have Mr Monk and the Rapper.

The purpose of this arrangement is to generate even more money for the Imus charity, and it also gives people who really wanted them a chance to at least get a copy.

At last I heard, all three of us were willing to provide xerox copies to interested posters and Theresa got the okay from Andy Breckman. I encourage Mandeville and Theresa to mark the xerox copies as being "xerox copies, not originals" before mailing them out.

Interested parties are getting the scripts for less money because the scripts and the autographs are not originals.

The arrangement is this: You must send $10 for the Imus charity for each copy of each script you want. These were going through Raven, and I do prefer this arrangement because then it's another poster who can readily verify in here that they've received the donation. That verification may be more difficult to get from a large charity organization.

Raven, if you don't want to continue this or you're unable to, perhaps there's another poster that was involved with organizing and running the original auction that's willing to receive the donations and then pass them on to Imus Ranch? Please let me know.

Once me, Theresa, or Mandeville get verification that your donation was received, then you would send one of the three of us above (depending on which script you want a copy of) $4.80 for postage, and a self-addressed mailing envelope.

If you have any questions, this is the perfect thread in which to ask them.

One more thing, make sure you specify which script you want to have a copy of!

I would be interesting in to get copies from the scripts. But I cannot get USA stamps in Finland. Can I send money for the posting (is it safe?) or how I could arrange it.

Just want to be clear that Aldebaran, fan4sure, Monkophile and Tonyfan have all paid for their scripts, plus the shipping. Yvette, you should be getting that shipping money for these 4 people soon, if you haven't already.

I feel ready to be done with the auction...I hope everyone understands! I have a family matter that's commanding my attention now, and the less I have to think about, the better for me.

If you are able to send US funds, you can get copies. I would need to calculate how much it would cost to send it to you in Finland so the amount of postage you would need may change from the $4.80.

Based on her package that I mailed her which was alot less weight than a script, also of which I overestimated the postage for, I think you could get it mailed there for $14 or so.

I don't mind doing it but perhaps you'd like to ask Liv or Theresa first? Whoever does this must have the contact information for Imus Ranch, particularly if the donations were sent through a specific person, and I'd like any additional amounts to be credited with the total amount raised through the auction. It's up to you.

Also, if you sent postage for these four people, that means they each sent you $14.80--is that correct?

I'm hoping to avoid confusion here. I just received $20 from Raven for postage, but I don't know of four people who are requesting The Rapper script. I think it would be best if people who have donated to Imus post in here which script they wanted.

To avoid confusion: $10 is sent for Imus. I haven't heard from Raven if she asked Liv or Theresa if they wanted to accept these donations to forward to the charity. I can accept them, but need to hear from Raven as to the address and whether there is a specific person we were directing dontations to.

Then $4.80 is sent TO THE PERSON WHO OWNS THE SCRIPT YOU WANT A COPY OF. I have the sneaking suspicion I have someone else's money. The person who is sending you the copy needs that money for the postage.

I need to know which scripts these people were buying--monkophile is looking for my script, but Tonyfan is looking for Daredevil--that money should have gone to Theresa. I need to know which scripts Aldebaran and fan4sure were buying.

Again, your $10 donation for Imus, for now, should be sent to me. Do not send donations directly to Imus because it will be difficult to verify--it should be a person on the board who can say "yes I got this money from________." Send your postage money directly to the person you're buying the script from. Post questions in here. I'd like to see more money generated for the charity but don't want a lot of confusion to ensue. lol. At this point, I need to send $15 to someone and I don't know who. Thanx.

Adrianna10 is interested in copies of Daredevil and The Three Julies. She will be sending money to me by Western Union in about a week--she'll notify me once she sends it.

I need mailing addresses for Theresa and Mandeville in order to send them the postage once I receive it from adrianna10. My post office here said the postage will be $11.95. If you'd like to double-check that figure, you can do what I did. I took my script in it's original packaging to the post office, had the clerk weigh it, and tell me how much it would cost to send it priority to Helsinki Finland.

Yes, you'd make two for the number of people for whom I received postage money that actually sent it directly--which leads me to believe that the $20 I received from Raven goes to Imus. That's actually good--that's how it was supposed to go originally. The postage was supposed to be sent directly to the people who own the script the posters wanted to buy a copy of.


That means Imus will be receiving $40 instead of $20--I am sending the money I received from Raven because I don't think it's postage but rather a portion of the original donations. I believe that changes our auction total from $1,808 to $1,848, which is good.

I still haven't heard from Aldebaran and still don't know which script that poster requested.

If anyone else would like copies of any of the three scripts, please PM me. Within the next two weeks would be good but I won't turn anyone down after that. Whatever I have for Imus will be sent at that time.

Teresa--I am swapping scripts with Mandeville. If we can also swap scripts, then all future requests can just go through me--I can do all the copying and mailing, and it'll simplify the process. I can send a copy of The Rapper with the $11.95 postage for Adrianna10's script.

Made some more progress--now I need to know if Aldebaran contacted either Mandeville or Teresa for a script copy. I can't get a hold of this poster. If he didn't contact you, please let me know that as well.

MicheleNassar has requested The Three Julies script--that raises the total another $10 for Imus! That makes an additional $50 above the $1,808 total posted earlier. Doing good with this.

Again, these are NOT original scripts or original autographs. You are receiving xerox copies of the originals that were purchased during the auction--this is why you may purchase these for only a $10 donation plus postage. This turned into a pretty good idea.




Added: Just so everyone understands my math: That $50 is not for all scripts requested. Raven received funds from the first four requests for script copies--that money was already added into her total on the auction page. My amount includes only the $20 I received from Raven (originally thought to be postage but found to be part of the donation.) Add to that the $20 received from Adrianna10 for the two scripts she requested, and then $10 for the script that Michele Nassar requested. That's the $50 over and above what was already sent in by Raven. The actual total raised from script copies only (not the originals)--assuming the four requests Raven received were for one script per each of those posters--should be $70. That's a nice little bump for Imus Ranch.

I currently have an additional $50 for Imus Ranch. I was going to send that at the end of the month. I think I'm going to extend that and give people another week or two to request copies. Like I said, I won't turn anyone away after that point but I'm hoping to send just one money order with all additional funds.

As soon as I receive the script copy from Teresa, I will have all three script copies so any requests and funds can all go through me. That will simplify things a lot and Mandeville and Teresa won't have to mess with it anymore. I have my own copier/printer/scanner so it's easier anyway.

To any newbies, original scripts signed by Tony Shalhoub were sold at the Monkfest Auction. You can get copies of these scripts at a greatly reduced price by PMing me or emailing me at yvettesgonefishing at yahoo dot com. If you request a script copy, make sure you check this thread to see that your request has been posted to it. I will be posting all requests on this thread to track them and to track additional donations.

You would need to send me a $10 donation for Imus and $4.80 for postage. These scripts are much less than what me, Mandeville, and Teresa paid for the originals because you will not be getting originals--the scripts and the autographs are xerox copies! This is to generate more money for Imus and to give other posters the opportunity to get copies. The three scripts available are Daredevil, The Three Julies, and The Rapper. Requests from within the US will cost $14.80 ($10 of that goes to Imus, the rest is postage.) If you request more than one script, your postage will be less, since two or all three copies can be mailed in the same envelope. I can send script copies to countries outside the US as well but first you need to give me your city/town, and country/territory first so that I can get the exact postage amount from the post office.
