I have to say that GA really impressed me with this one. She is absolutely stunning, but definitely (and thankfully) not a giggling starlet. She's confident without being full of herself -- very down-to-earth.

I actually think the Today show is crap TV. The bubble head interviewers were too distracting. Loved Gabrielle and she rose above it anyway in her unassuming gracious way. 

Oh gawd Kathie Lee interviewed her. Poor woman. LMAO

ok - that was great!! Once you figure out it won't play in Firefox and open it in IE!!!! I love Gabrielle! I know her from The Three Musketeers, she was Queen Anne!!! She really is down to earth! I can totally relate to her guilt being away from her kids while she's working and going stir crazy at home not working! Been there, done that!!! I'm sorry she had to sit through Kathy Lee...that's just cruel!!!

Thanks. If I had known I would have gotten up at 5am but was exhausted from wandering the village the night before with friends from out of town. I don't paticularly like many of the talk shows taped in the city because they never let the actors talk. The View is notorious for that. But thanks for the link.

Former lurker here -- I'd chosen a name for myself based on one of my all-time favorite movie characters, Phil Connors in Groundhog Day, but I'm female and found myself thinking, man, I should've chosen a feminine variant of his name, lol.

Anyway, I wanted to thank tgirl for the link to the GA interview. I don't normally watch the Today Show, so I have no idea if these people were simply ill-prepared for this particular interview or if they're always so slipshot -- but to resort to asking GA, "so is that Michael Westen?"... that was ridiculous. I thought Gabrielle was exceptionally gracious and wonderful throughout the entire thing. I love how she plays Fiona -- my favorite scene of hers is in Broken Rules (episode 7), when Michael comes over and sticks that gun in her face and demands she hand over her purse and she punches him repeatedly. When he implores her to go along with the act, she relents but she gives him this priceless look of indignance (why is my ex-boyfriend doing this to me?!). I just think she's wonderful and beautiful.

Hey, didn't want to start a new thread... but the new august issue of Men'sHealth with LLCoolJ on the cover...(whoa baby!!) has an article with Gabrielle Anwar in it "get with gabby"... only 1 page but it's a positive article for her.. you go girl! and for the guy fan's of her's there is (quoting my brother-in-law now:) 2 "smokin hot pictures" of her. Peace. (ladies there's lots of LLCoolJ smokin hot pics too!)
