Hey guys...just picked up season 6 DVD today...it does have episode commentaries with the cast and crew...havent watched it yet..may save it for the weekend to 'Monk Out'. LOL

It'll be awhile before I get mine....(sigh) The best cast commentary I've ever heard are on the Red Dwarf dvds. Those guys are funny.

I picked up my Season 6 DVD's this morning. It has several commentarys on it, mostly with the writers. It has one cast and crew commentary, Mr. Monk is Up All Night. This commentary does not have Traylor Howard in it.

I glad some of you have got to pick it up...A major Monk weekend will start Friday...have to take a break Saturday to go to work but I am jumping back in right after...

I love the Monk DVD's I don't have time to watch much tv so I don't watch or try to hear anything about the current Season of monk, then when the DVD is released I have a weekend Monk smash!!! It's great being able to wtach new episodes that i have never seen in a huge amount lol.

Season 6 DVD will be arriving soon, i cannot wait to see what Season 6 has in store for me

Has anyone checked out the commentaries yet? I will go to Target sometime this week and pick them up. I'll make my mom sit with me this weekend and watch them. She will be recovering from surgery and weak so she can't fight me.

Actually that's how I got hooked -- while recovering from surgery.

You know, I hate that. I wonder if I can hold out until the price goes down...

I have a gift certificate for Best Buy, so I'm going down there tonight to pick up the DVDs ... So, I checked out the BB website and looked at the synopses. I think some things should be spoilerized a little better ... I realize that most people who buy DVD sets of TV shows have seen most/all episodes, but, for instance:

Mr. Monk and the Bad Girlfriend

Introduced in the previous episode "Mr. Monk, Private Eye", attractive realtor Linda Fusco (Sharon Lawrence) is now the girlfriend of Captain Stottlemeyer (Ted Levine). This fact makes it all the more difficult for Monk (Tony Shalhoub) to pursue his theory that Linda is responsible for the death of her business partner.

I think that would've been enough, but the rest gives away too much, IMO:

Okay, I just got back from Target, where I picked up my Monk season 6 DVDs, incidentally, the next to last ones they had -- I almost didn't see them at all.

But there are some great pics.

There is one I love on the back of the disk 1 case with Marci, Monk and Natalie all looking at the camera and holding their dolls -- Marci has the Marci doll from the diorama, Monk has what I think is the Bobble head, and Natalie is holding the little yellow troll doll. It's really cute.

And the cover of disk 3 has a smiling Monk. (Okay, well I like all the covers.) I've yet to put in a DVD because I've been kind of busy drooling over the cover shots.

Frankly the pics alone were worth the 40.00 + I paid after adding NYS taxes.

$36.99? That's cheaper than Amazon, even after adding tax in. The Best Buy website said they were selling it for $44.99. Off to Target I go! (well not right now, but this week)

I picked mine up this morning. YAAYYSS!!!!

I have to wait til Saturday when I have off to be able to watch it, though. That & the new WWE DVD, One Night Stand. ...It's going to be a FANTASTIC weekend!! (I'm SUCH a fanboy ..um, fangirl )
