huh.gif Okay everybody, I read the different takes on the subject, now here's my opinion. Not everyone makes the same amount of money so I think they need to implement some kind of better system for the newbies as well as for the oldies. Look at all the parent managers from the past who have stolen the money from their children who are/were actors. I support the actors and if that means re-runs then so be it...sometimes you catch something you missed the first time around. I don't think that anybody should get greedy, but some of the personalities of today are in fact very selfish when the others have families that need to be taken care of. Who knows what can happen in the next few days, maybe an actor dies, maybe the main character dies, God forbid, but for example, are they going to replace Monk with Stanley Tucci???? We as a television society need to support the actors and hope they make the right decisions to avoid this catastrophic event from happening. rolleyes.gif

I am glad you support the actors, I do too, for what it's worth, but... I'm not really sure where you're going with the part about someone dying. Sorry. Are you saying that people aren't interchangable? Because yeah, I can get behind that, not all actors are the same, some are better suited to one role than another, and all that, but then, I'm still back at the beginning wondering how that has anything to do with the strike.

If I'm being thick, I'm sorry, sometimes that happens.

Sorry, there goes that jumping computer screen again. You're not thick. I just mean that some shows can get canceled in the blink of an eye and leave some of the actors without backup. Some have a reputation they can fall back on. We just need to show them, all the actors our support. I hope that helped a little.
