How much do you want to bet that Mary's Father is in the program... I sense a cliff hanger for the season finale that reveals this little tidbit....
I was re-thinking what you said about Mary’s Dad being in the program. My first thought was
no way—because Mary, Mom, and Sis were left behind. But, it could be that Mom refused to go. What if she had had enough of his “ways” and saw this as a chance to get out? Mary was only 7 and Sis younger, if Mom said Dad left, then that’s what they would believe. What if having to keep that secret all these years is part of what’s behind Mom’s irrational behavior.

I just couldn't figure out why if he was going into witness protection he wouldn't take his family with him. I'd think if really bad people were after him because he testified against them his family would be at risk if they couldn't get to him.
When a person goes into the program and the family is also a target, but did not want to go with the Primary, would they be
relocated separately?Of course, I don’t believe for a second that Dad is in the program, especially in light of the
lets-declare-him-dead letter. But, it is a doable.
