i thought about voting which side of goren you enjoy most to see as i know that many of you prefer the old goren and others are more inclined too see angst and fretful situations displayed in the 6th season and less in the 7th season so far ...so which one should be old , classical goren or the modern angsty one?

geee .. that's weird , to me it appears like before voting , i don't know how to change the screen to look as you showed me . i haven't voted yet because i wanted to see other's opinions but i guess i changed my mind...

I voted both because all the quirks are that much more interesting now that I know where they came from.

I think both sides are interesting. I just hope they don't lock themselves into one or the other. I like exploring the depth of the characters and the acting and writing that goes witgh that, but I don't want to watch doom and gloom all the time either.

Exactly. In the past, it was difficult to understand why Goren acted/reacted the way he did. Now, we're beginning to understand and appreciate his character at a much deeper level.

I like both sides. Makes him human, the Goren of before was like "Batman" a superhero. Now we know he is human.

I voted both. I love Goren, his old ways and habits...but I like seeing the character grow and change...just seeing him emotional and "normal" is nice since he was such a "perfect" person before and now he seems more realistic and human....its interesting to see how all the characters are developing.

no , you made perfect sense , but he wasn't perfect before either because he was strange and mysterious somehow . But not even now we're not quite sure why he acts stragely sometimes for example we couldn't tell why he acted like that with eames in ''purgatory '', whether he did that to protect her or from any other reason .

I voted old Goren with quirks. If they continued on entirely with the angst, I wouldn't watch it anymore.

Don't get me wrong. I would like to see him happier and get the "team" back to the real job of crime solving. Its just interesting to see what makes the character act upon things the way that they do. We have had years of little hints and inuendos and its nice, at least for me, to see where they were coming from. Smiles from both of them would be nice. Bobby dancing and leaning...awesome! Eames kicking a perps butt, would be too cool!
