Yeah. I know it's there to make things 'easier' for users, but the drop down comes down at the wrong time (say, if I want to click on the USA Network Forums) and I get sent to the Psych homepage. End Rant Mode.

Yeah, I have had that problem too and I hate the drop downs on general principle, I think if I want something to drop down, I'll click on it, if I don't click on it, I don't want the stupid thing. All these mouseover drop downs serious tick me off, but I don't think the Admin really has anything to do with that.

Add me to the list. I don't like them either.

It's just too fast. They should increase the pause time needed to call the menu. Coming out at first touch is just too quick for those of us who just want to slide across it to another control.

OMG! I thought I was the only one! What really annoys me is if I come anywhere near it, it drops down--but unlike other drop down menus, it doesn't retract when I take my cursor off of it. Nope, this one stays there, blocking most of the top of the page. Then I try to hit the Monk link to refresh the page and I end up on the Psych page. Here's one "improvement" I hate with a vengence!

While we're on the subject, here's another: they changed the character sudoku. In the 3 to 5 minutes I spend on each sudoku, the game stops and appears to reload itself about 3 times. By the time the game comes back up, I've forgotten what I was doing. The game screen says it's now beta or something. The last version used to just stay on the screen until I was done with the game. Hate it hate it.

Okay, so why is my menu working better today? Now when I roll off of it, it goes back -- it wasn't doing that yesterday. Yesterday it was freezing in place.

Did they fix it? Or is it maybe incompletely loading sometimes...

It does that to me. There are days where it will go off quickly and then there are days where I can't get rid of the drop down menu.

Still sucks for me today. Personally, I hate automatic stuff on websites, like when you open a page and music starts playing right off the bat, or videos start to run without me clicking on them. And I hate menus that open up without me clicking on them. The menus on the main site and on the message board are so annoying to me it's not even funny, because most of the time, I don't want those menus, I'm trying to get to something those stupid menus have popped out and blocked my access to. If I want those menus, I will click the stupid things, otherwise, I want them to stay closed. It's like a demented game of whack-a-mole, trying to navigate this site sometimes.

Dear Site Designers,
Just because you can use something, doesn't always mean you should, and if you are going to use it, please, don't overuse it. For some things, a little goes a very long way.

To me, all these drop down menus and sliding menus are like Aqua Velva; if you are gonna use it, fine, use it lightly and stand over there, far away from where I have to breathe.

Not long after I posted on here that the drop down menu wasn't giving me problems today, it started giving me problems again. I jinx myself every time.

Yeah, and just remember what happened to that last person who used too much Aqua Velva around here.

I have the same problem with those drop down menues as I do with fast food resteraunts. How close can I get before they start bugging me. I have to sneak up on the "USA NETWORK" button.

Personally, I hate anything that opens up without me clicking on it. They take away my perogative. There's a lot of sites I refuse to go to, simply because they have a bunch of stuff that does just that.

I thought I was the only one who noticed. It IS really annoying. get rid of it.
