Hey guys, since many people are talking about Hulk Hogan, I want to know this:
Has Hogan killed the Careers of Professional Wrestlers?
Well, let's take you back to the days of the World Wrestling Federation:
Hulk Hogan has been known for not losing and for not selling.
Hogan has been accused of killing the career of The Macho Man Randy Savage, ending Andre the Giant's Undefeated Streak and for not dropping the title to Bret Hart.
Plus, he was known for playing politics in the WWF @ that time by taking the WWE Heavyweight Championship from the late Yokozuna.
But when Vince McMahon thanked Hulk Hogan for the memories, Eric Bischoff signed Hogan to Ted Turner's WCW.
and soon, he became the WCW World Heavyweight Champion.
Hogan has also been known for killing the careers of the likes of Big Van Vader, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Randy Savage and many others.
Plus, guys like Austin, Konnan and Rick Steiner have held the U.S., TV and World Tag Team Championship, but did not hold the WCW World Heavyweight Championship.
and he was probably the reason why guys like Chris Benoit, Dean Malenko and others have left the WCW.
But in 2000, he was FINALLY given the boot by WCW.
and even to this day, Hulk Hogan has been disliked by many wrestlers:
The likes of Bret Hart, Bruno Sammartino, Larry Zbyszko, Paul Heyman, Jim Cornette, Stone Cold Steve Austin and many others.
Even Ole Anderson said that Hulk Hogan and Vince McMahon had killed Professional Wrestling.
However, only 1 person has looked up to Hulk Hogan and that is Big Poppa Pump Scott Steiner.
and so, I ask you all this:
Did Hulk Hogan kill the careers of Wrestlers?
That's the Question!
Please share your thoughts on all of this.
