I just saw the fourth season of the 4400 and i loved it. But i could just wish i can see how it all end. I am not really sure but the fourth season kinda was like an ending but maybe something more happens in which i would love to see happen. This happens to be my favorite show on USA and would love to see it end. For some reason, i feel incomplete and wish there was more. At least, I get to watch the fourth season as many times as i want. Thanks 4400 show.

Hi peterro,
Welcome to the board. We all miss "The 4400". I hope you like to read because something more is coming. Check out this thread: http://forums.usanetwork.com/index.php?showtopic=401443
Please stay tuned!

June

P.S. Until then you can get a fix with tie-in book, "The Vesuvius Prophecy" by Greg Cox, now out in stores and coming in October another tie-in, "Wetwork".

Hi Bubba here, welcome to the forum peterro. It's a shame USA cancelled The 4400, but like June said, be sure to check out the book.

Last Sunday night, I actually teared up a little bit when it got to be 9:00 sad.gif No book can make up for the lost nights sitting on the edge of our couches waiting to see what Jordan would do next.

Or how he would justify his promicin holocaust....

Mmmm.... Jordan!

And hearing Diana's snarky little one-liners that we all loved

Don't forget about wondering if Kyle actually had an ability, or if he was suffering for mass psychosis...

i'll miss maia and her visions. she was my favorite character. the 4400 was the reason why i was excited for summer. oh well, i'll never forget you 4400!!!!!!!!!!!!! you live on in dvds, books and my mind.

Lest we forget, I must mention Shawn's constant struggle to do the right thing and make the proper decisions.

I miss the 4400 too! I like the fact that the books are coming out only to satisfy my curiosity on how the story ends. But in all honestly it won't be the same. The actors are also what I liked about the show and even though while reading I would picture them it's not the same as watching them react and bring their characters to life. Imagine reading about Tom being Marked and NOT seeing how delicious Joel showed that change. The summer is just not the same without the 4400. sad.gif

OH MY GOODNESS, Ele.....truer words were never, ever spoken (err, typed)!! That's so dead on! Joel was absolutely astounding with that story line. Also, we will never see the emotional struggle play out on his face when deciding whether or not to take the shot that Kyle lays before him.
Promicinjunkie
Hush yo mouth! That would be absolutely criminal...

LOL laugh.gif

What would be criminal, PJ? Tom taking the shot or us not getting to see Joel Gretsch make the decision?
Promicinjunkie
When I made the referenced comment, I was referring to not being able to see Joel Gretsch bringing that to life. Or for that matter, any of the actors being able to...

I'm feeling the same way and it made me realize that it's the reason I feel so lost this summer. I'd much rather watch The 4400 than a bunch of stupid reality shows. Heck, I didn't even find out about the cancellation until a few months ago.

Just found this article:

"Exclusive: 'CSI: Miami' Exhumes New Coroner
Jul 18, 2008, 06:16 PM | by Michael Ausiello

The 4400's Megalyn Echikunwoke (pronounced "Meg") has been cast as the new coroner on CSI: Miami, sources confirm to me exclusively. She fills the void left by Khandi Alexander, who bolted the procedural at the end of last season because, among other things, she *a* *i******e. Allegedly.

24 fans will recall that Echikunwoke played Pres. Palmer's daughter, Nicole, in the show's first season.

Thoughts on Miami's new Quincy? Care to take a stab at that asterisk quiz?"

Here's one that's a bit longer:

"CSI: Miami casts a new coroner
Posted Jul 22nd 2008 9:42AM by Kona Gallagher
Filed under: Other Drama Shows, Casting, Reality-Free

Producers of CSI: Miami have found a new coroner. Starting this season, The 4400's Megalyn Echikunwoke will fill the role vacated by Khandi Alexander. Alexander parted ways with the series after six years due to her alleged unhappiness with the show *cough* David Caruso *cough.*

There isn't much known about Echikunwoke's character, other than she'll be the new coroner. For instance, her affinity for the phrase "aw sugar" and her feelings on whether or not the victims on the table "left this world too soon" are, at this point, a mystery.

I can't say whether or not Echikunwoke's casting is an upgrade or a downgrade for CSI, as I haven't seen her on The 4400, and only vaguely remember her as David Palmer's daughter on the first season of 24. I don't hold high hopes though, considering how CSI: Miami managed to take Alexander, who was fantastic on News Radio and The Corner, and render her all but unwatchable. Seriously. I appreciate a character on a crime show who takes it personally and all, but watching her and the 20 lbs. of makeup they made her wear gently combing the hair of a dead teenage runaway or whatever while silently crying was just cringe-worthy.

What are your feelings on the casting news? Do you even watch CSI: Miami, or like me, are you repelled by David Caruso and his sunglasses?"
Spock
I think the 4400 has gone as far as it could go and still be plausible. cool.gif
