the movie is funny though

It looks fun for kids but he wonders why he doesn't win any major awards. It's movies like this that may hurt his chances at even being nominated or even treated like a serious actor. But...whatever makes him happy. If he likes looking like an idiot and being in dumb movies then so be it. LOL! I love him on the show and I loved him in 'Runaway Bride' so as far as I am concerned he is a great actor. I just wish he did an actual grown up movie.

Well he is in that new Richard Grier Diane Lane movie. IDK I remember him saying he really doesn't care about awards much he just likes to have fun, hence the crazy movies he does, lol.

i agree, you have to admit, the title did get our attention....

I love christopher just having a little fun. If anyone ventures into the monk board I am a huge monk fan and in one episode Monk went off and told his beloved doctor he was dead to him.

After seeing Christopher on law and order this just got me off guard a little.

I think it looks rather funny! LOL! It looks like something that would be very cute for his kids to watch with him.

He's getting to do a comedy- which he loves to do. And it's something that his kids can see. Which is probably why he chose the movie. You know, not everybody gets to do good children's movies. I mean, think about the good kid movies out there. And then think about who stars in them. Mike Myers, Tom Hanks, Angelina Jolie, Jack Black-for some ungodly known reason, Eddie Murphy. Oh and usually the good movies are animated. Which means they hire people with distinct voices and voice over experience. Something Chris has very little experience doing.

I love Chris to death, but he is not on the same star level as those guys. I'm sure he took the job for his kids...and August, of course. LOL!

ANd heck, I think I would actually watch it. Yeah, it looks dumb, but he does some pretty stupid funny things in the promo. I got a big kick out him ripping his pants off.

nicley spoken, CM does good stupid funny things, when he was the pediatrician in scrubs for one, he was so funny in that him and those gym shorts in this one, it looks like its going to be the silly funny, which looks good, i think ill take my 5 yr old brother to it, saying he wants to see it for my excuse

I thought the same thing, I am sure his kids, neices, nephews, godchildren (whoever) would like to see him act too! And like the love Guru, maybe the comic relief is good for actors themselves.

Also, I really don't see how this would affect him getting an award. Look at all the great actor/actresses who before they won the awrad(s) did crap, even after their awards they did crap.

ummmm this is my hubby you are talking about here! give the dude a break. i mean we see him in a gory, drama, disturbing series. He is a very funny person. I think its gonna be nice to see him in something like this. my little bro was watching Nickolodeon and he was like "sofia sofia come here, look!" lol and there that commercial was! i was like ahhhhh yep good times. i thought that movie came out already.

My point exactly. And the movie looks funny. We already know Chris is a comedian.
I think he's entitled to being in funny movies after he's been in both Oz and SVU.
The guy needs to show off his funny side every once in a while.
Also, doing this movie will get him some credit from the younger viewers.
Now, he can actually show his kids some of his work besides that one time he
was on Seasame Street.

Give the guy a break, I think it looks kinda silly, but cute. I thought he was really funny in Harold & Kumar go to Whitecastle (I really only watched the part he was in). He just made me laugh knowing it was him underneath all the gross makeup . He was really funny on Scrubs, too. I know I'll watch it just to see him, can't resist.
