I just haven't been as . . . excited by these past couple of episodes, my beloved G/E included. Maybe I'm missing the angst but I dunno, it seems something's not there.

Okay so I saw two hints of "ripped from the headlines" in this episodes.
First, the boys in Thailand that Jordi was accused of sleeping with? Gary Glitter (famous song: "Rock and Roll Part 1") who got busted for child porn on his computer, and is currently serving time in Vietnam for molesting Vietnamese children
Second, Jordi's excuse that he was writing a "Rock Opera"? That's Peter Townshend (of The Who fame), who was also busted on child pornography charges, but was let go because he was in fact looking at the images for research into the rock opera "Wire and Glass".

This is so far the best Logan/Wheeler episode I seen, not that really good like "Kissinger", but full of twists and shocking revelations in the end. I knew all the long Jordie's wife was the killer and I feel bad for Milo knowing he slept with his father's wife.

"Great Scott!" I can't wait for next week either! When I saw the Vanishing act promo I was shocked when Christoper Lloyd, good ol' Dr. Brown from the BTTF days, will be a main suspect.

Actually, I was worried that Jordi might be the "fiancee" that Wheeler was talking about. She said he was in London and then when they said that his "Black Shag" cigarettes can only be bought there, and the way she was googly eyes for him?

I had this whole thing figured out from the first scene, but still it was well played by the actors. Joan Jett looked great. I liked the scene in the coroner's office, but then I like Rodgers anyhow. I always enjoy her scenes! Particularly, her awkward professional/personal relationship with Ross.

You're a smart cookie. I forgot about that Pete Townsend business. (didn'know about the Gary Glitter thing)
Anyway, it was a pretty good episode. My cable was out at 9 but I stayed up to watch at midnight. Joan Jett looked amazing. Wheeler's crush was kind of funny. Good to see a different side of her and when she was watching him record-the look in her eyes etc-she looked like a teenager meeting her idol. (The lighting there was a little sappy tho.) I knew who the killer was right off but I had the motive wrong for awhile. Funny bit about Wheeler's fiancee having to start without her.

Well I sure can't judge her for it. For about 4 seconds I was thinking "c'mon Wheeler, knock the stars out of your eyes". Then I thought to myself... ya sure... would I be even half as coherant if someone sent me in to question Sting or Bono? Um... I'd be lucky if the drool didn't pool on the floor... lol.

I liked this one, and I’m not a Logan fan; although I admit he has grown on me this last year. I thought this episode was better written than last week’s G&E episode (Kissinger). In Kissinger, I knew who did it early on. In Reunion I really wasn’t sure who did it until the end when the Rock Opera was discovered. It was good episode in my opinion.
I also was glad that Jordie didn’t end up being a pedophile or murderer since Wheeler would never have heard the end of it!

Looks like rodgers and Ross are back together or he wouldn't have gone down there.
I thought it was either the rocker or his wife from the beginning, I knew the boy was his son, they couldn't have picked a better pair, they looked like father and son.
Before Wheeler and Logan went to the love motel when wheeler had her scheduled video call, what did Logan say to her. I couldn't make it out. It ended in ...................... Baby.

Her name is Dana Wheeler Nicholson. She's done character work on tons of shows, but you probably remember her as Hilary Marsden... heiress turned con-artist killer in love with Bernard Fremont (Michael York) who was Nichol Wallace's mentor in Thailand. The episode is "Slither" from LOCI season 5.

Hey. I liked this episode. This one had me to the end as to the murderer and I was completely surprised by Jordie being Milo's dad. As they say on the KFC commercial "didn't see that one comin'". Recognized the lady that was in an earlier eppy; she played Sammy's sister; liked Bernard. Thought Wheeler was cute in this one, standing up for Jordie and proving everyone wrong about him. Noticed the look between Ross and the ME. Do you think they had eye makeup on Milo's eyes to make them look like he was crying?

I hadn't thought about makeup, but he was crying a lot. When he found out at the end that Jordi was his father, I told my daughter, "How messed up is that poor kid?!"

I don't know, I thought Noth looked awful. His hair was dyed, so were his eyebrows, and it looked like he was very heavily bronzed/made up. He's not my idea of a leading man, anyway, but last night he looked more like a nightmare than a dreamboat. His face is much too old for him not to have any gray at all in his hair. And before anyone says it, it was definitely NOT my TV.
I much prefer Bobby'a au naturale look ----

I saw this interesting tidbit about her on IMDB:
"She is the granddaughter of Major Malcolm Wheeler-Nicholson, who started DC Comics (home of Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman). Unfortunately the Major was financially squeezed out of the company, so the family has no connection with DC Comics today."
It used to annoy me when I would see guest actors playing different characters on CI but with some like her, Amy Ryan("Rocketman" and "Suite Sorrow") and the one who played the mom in "Magnificat" it is fun watching them play characters that are so different. Like watching KE and VDO or any good actor in different roles.

I love it when they fake me out and I don't even realize it's the same actor until halfway through the eppy. What I don't always like is when thy get someone more famous than the average character actor. Unless they are really good, like Michael O'Keefe or Stephen Colbert, I often find them distracting, like Theresa Russell and Tatem O'Neil. Over course then there's Liza... who was disctracting but so hilarious I didn't mind... lol
