LOVE the pictures, especially the big close up.

I keep seeing previews for this ep and damn, but Goren is looking FINE.
It ain't just the suit and tie clip (though that doesn't hurt either). It's the hair, and the clean shaven-ness, and the look of Oh, god, don't shoot me.....

Maybe the beard will be back in the next G/E, since they were filmed out of order. I liked (loved wub.gif ) the look too! But I like him anyway he comes! wub.gif

Word, but on the NoRomo, we hide his razor for two days, then we let him shave, can't let that beard get too long. wink.gif

I don't know if I'll be able to see in on the 6th, or any that week. I'll have to watch for it on the reruns after we get back. Just yesterday, I was able to see Betrayed.........

I LOVE the way he looks in this epi tho -- it's my fave look.

The episode clip on the USA main page for CI bothered me. sad.gif

Didn't it seem that the writers gave Eames all the good insights when they are examining the dead Dad? All Goren noticed was the guys wallet was on him & the gunshot. Eames cleverly noticed that a businessman with a Nanny wouldn't be walking his own child late on a weeknight. Those type of insights, how people think, used to be owned by Goren. Eames was the fact finder. Now it's reversed. I don't like it.

Oh haven't seen it yet, brb, have to go check it out!

revised: I don't know, Goren goes straight to the body, just like usual, Eames questions witnesses, but doesn't seem to be any, so she made observations, she has done that before.

I know **sigh** ....but this bringing Eames to the front is getting to be way too much. In the past, Goren would have checked the body, and them stood up, looked around, and made the rather awesome observation about the Nanny.

No offense to Eames, but I liked it better when Goren was the smart one. wink.gif

It was, like, one minute of them looking at a body. Eames has one idea and you're worried that suddenly she's a genius? Eames is allowed to have ideas, she's had an idea or two, possibly three in the years she's worked with Bobby. First you want more of her, then when she has an idea, you freak out. I hope no writers are reading this thread, they'd give up.

No she isn't, Bobby is the Genius, Eames better step back and leave my Bobby alone.
(here comes the guys with the straight jackets,) No, No, I have to be with Bobby, you have to understand, Eames must carry his water. Wow I feel like Nelda, lol.

I know, but you can't lick whipped cream off a razor.......

Whipped cream also doesn't work as well when you're trying to shave. Now, AFTER you've shaved each other, and showered together to get it all rinsed off, THEN the whipped cream works really well...... rolleyes.gif

Maybe they're trying to show how much these two think alike, after having worked together for so long. And maybe Goren's hanging back a little in his insights and observations after the water carrier remark.

I agree with your spoiler, Judy.

Spoiler:
I've also noticed that whenhe is confronted with violence like that (Siren Call, Stress Position), he gets this submissive pose. He keeps his eyes down, holds his hands up with palms out, and his whole body language is submissive. But then he starts talking, and talks himself right out of the situation.

First time putting in a spoiler, please bear with me....

Spoiler:
I think you're right...the palms out and no clenched fists is body language to show submissiveness, is he a trained negotiator too besides a profiler?

I like the idea of Alex mentioning some of the above observations....maybe they've learned from each other over the past 8 years.

And after reading Jryan's and flashymom's posts, I had to stick my head in the freezer for awhile! Right there with you both.....except you both have to wait until Doc Goren gives some anatomy and physiology lessons to Nurse Goddess! tee hee

TheGoddessDivine
forgot to put this in my previous post....

Spoiler:
Forgot to put this in too...perhaps the epi title refers to parents having Henry Kissinger writing letters of recommendation for their children to attend a ritzy preschool?

Most police organizations offer/make available all kinds of training, and I would imagine the bigger the agency, the more variety in the offerings. And both Goren and Eames seem to be the type to take advantage of whatever training opportunities are offered. Recall in the Nicole Wallace episode where she has the Asian girlfriend stealing diamonds I can NEVER remember the episode names, darn it!!!), Eames is sitting at the counter examining the fake diamonds with a jewelers' loupe ----

Although Henry Kissinger writing letters of recommendation for babies sounds pretty absurd...

Maybe its sarcastic like the parents are soooo desperate to get their kids into the school that they are trying to get recommendations from anyone they can, including someone as high profile as Henry Kissinger....is he even still alive?

I think it's pretty hilarious... just the idea that a preschooler would need a Kissinger recommendation for anything. Hmm... so how many toddlers do you think he knows personally?

And the idea that a school would get so many recommendations from him that they'd have to shut it down... I'm picturing Kissinger with his own little baby-blessing cottage industry.... "Vell, only $10,000 but zay did throw in ze 50 room cottage on Matha's Vineyard so... leetle Timmy gets zee recommendation."

The whole title just cracked me up when I read it.

I, for one, am anxious to see what is sooo special about this school that parents are being killed over it. Kind of reminds me of The Enemy Within when the guy kills the old man because he wouldn't recommend his son for the private school.

Lol-ing...out loud, as Monk would say. Funny, but truly sad. Some of the greatest minds and people in the world didn't go to the best schools...George Washington Carver (who invented peanut butter, among many other things), Ronald Reagan, Einstein, Gerald Ford......and some who did turned out to be real putzes....
