He wanted to go home and just collapse. This case was kicking his ass. They had no leads and Ross was getting impatient. What was worse was that now it looked like the guy had gone and committed another homicide in his old precinct. Just what he needed.
“Logan, Wheeler get in here.” Ross called out into the squad room.
Logan walked in to find two young pups seated in front of Ross’s desk. Where had Van Burren found these two? Elementary school?
“Detectives Lupo and Bernard from the 2-7. I expect you both to give them your full co-operation.” Ross said looking pointedly at Logan. Logan groaned.
Lupo and Bernard nodded and then headed out into the squad room. Logan shook his head. This was going to be oh so much fun.
“Look at it this way at least you won’t get stuck doing the paper work this time.” Wheeler said as she headed out of the Captain’s office.
Logan chuckled as he followed her. Leave it to Wheeler to find the one bright spot.
