I will join all the other jealous women in saying that you do indeed look as young and beautiful as you did in "What About Bob". Since becoming addicted to LOCI (as you can see from my screen name), I have been searching out movies that you, Vincent, Chris, and Eric have made. I have been truly amazed at your incredible talent. I loved "Rich In Love". "Stir Of Echoes" was a movie I would not normally watch because I just don't do scary movies (not even for Kevin Bacon, another favorite of mine). But I watched it because of you and I'm so glad I did. It has become one of my favorite movies (but I still have to watch it in the daytime). And may I just say what a treat it was, after watching Vincent's incredible performance on Homicide: Life on the Streets, to find that you turned in an equally incredible performance on the very next episode. No matter how many times I watch that episode, you bring me to tears. By far, your portrayal of Alex Eames fascinates me. Eames may have started out as a sidekick on paper, but you quickly made her into a full-fledged partner. Your ability to deliver "snarky" one-liners keeps us all in stitches. But I also appreciate the wide range of emotions that we see on Eames face, even when she isn't speaking. And it is exciting to see more of Eames' backstory being given prominence--it leaves me wanting more and more!

I hope you have a truly happy birthday, and that your children serve you breakfast in bed. I look forward to many more wonderful characters from you and wish you all the best.

Your character brings a woman's point of view into a the man's world of NYPD, but you make her believable, real, focused, funny and beautiful. These past few years you have (finally) been given a chance to show your stuff - "Blindspot" (I was scared for and proud of Eames), "Amends"(I cried for Eames), "Purgatory"(I empathized and cheered for Eames) - and wow did you shine! Thank you for your fabulous performances in those and every episode. LOCI is my favorite show and Goren/Eames are my favorite detective team. No matter who else is on the other team, you and D'Onofrio are the heart and soul of the show. Thank you for sharing your talent with us.
