USA Network is currently having talks with NBC Universal to pick up NEW EPISODES of Passions.

According to rumors from sources inside at USA, they are considering picking up reruns of the series for the fall, if the ratings do well they will consider producing new episodes for 2009!

Passions was cancelled by DirecTV because, Although DirecTV expected more people to cancel their cable and switch to DirecTV to view Passions, Thousands did make the switch, just to watch Passions! That shows you how loyal Passions fans really are. Many people are also willing to pay over $13 dollars per month to view Passions online at NBC.com

Also although Passions didn't do great in total viewers, durning it's NBC run Passions was the #1 daytime drama in the Women 18-34, Women 12-24, and Women 18-24 demo. Passions was also the #1 soap in the Men 12-24 demo.

USA Network is skewing very male, Passions would bring the young female demo that advertisers crave to USA network!

Please pick up Passions, USA Network!

A finale will be airing on August 11th, 2008 and I cannot wait to see it.

I would like to see re-runs of Passions from the starting or a Passions spin off.

Passions would really boost the women demographic for the USA network. They already have good male demographic thanks to WWE Raw and they need a good female demographic and only Passions can provide that.

Passions fans are very passionate about Passions. I pay $14.95 a month to watch Passions 3 times a week, every month.

Passions rocks and I love it to death.

Like everyone else in this thread, please USA, consider strongly adding Passions to your lineup. I'm positive that you won't be dissapointed, especially when you see how loyal the fan base is. Those who couldn't see it on Directv loved the show so much that they were willing to pay over $150 per year just to watch it online. It also excells in the female demographics being #1, including men 12- 24 (which is where I'd be included.) Please consider keeping this fun and the only campy soap thats left out there alive! There is truly no other daytime drama out there like Passions, and I'm sure it'll be a success. I'm positive that us loyal fans of the show would definitly tune in daily to see whats happening in Harmony if new episodes were able to be produced!

Passions should definitly be picked up for new episodes on USA. It's the only soap out there that's not afraid to go the extra mile to entertain there fans. There intentions were to turn the genre upside down and they definitly did, while in the process gaining close to 2 million viewers. If that's not enough reason, the series, which excels in the female audiance would be heaven sent for advertisers, and ask anyone and they'd tell you the fans are the best and very loyal than any daytime soap out there. Like the above posters, please consider adding Passions to your lineup with new episodes. We're well aware that sets have gone down and ect. but we're not worried. We know if it's Passions, we'll watch. Heres to hoping to see Passions on USA the next time I read the new lineup!

Tell them that you want new episodes of Passions, and just like Andrea said, even if you don't like Passions, in the end it would help USA Network in terms of making money and ratings, and the more money USA Network makes, it means the more programming they create. So really even if you don't like Passions, if your a fan of USA Network you will benefit from Passions airing on USA.

I have been an avid fan of the show ever since the premiere - July 5th 1999. Passions is one of the best daytime dramas this world has ever seen, fact - word!

Not only does the show have some AWESOME supernatural story lines (ie, portal to hell in closets, Zombies, possessed pendants, living dolls, witches, angels, warlocks, devils...etc), it also has a huge element of romance, intrigue, mystery, and shocking twists and turns!

If anyone just tries watching one episode of the soap, they will immediately get hooked on it for LIFE!

Furthermore, the show has a STELLAR and exhilarating cast! The actors and actresses are all nothing short of superb, and they all bring happiness and smiles onto the screen. Not to mention how every cast member has chemistry with one another that makes the storyline THAT much more meaningful and worthwhile.

USA, I implore you, it is imperative that you guys start showing re-runs of Passions. The network would get such tremendous ratings, that it's not even funny. You guys would become the most POPULAR and most WATCHED network in U.S. Television history.

I would love it if the USA Network would show reruns of Passions. I, unfortunately, have not seen Passions since it left NBC. I would love to be able to see the episodes of Passions since it's showing on Direct TV. I am among others who misses Passions and would love to see it again. I ask you to please consider showing reruns of Passions. You will not be disappointed and will be glad that you are showing Passions once your ratings go up. As with the other posters, I would LOVE to see Passions on USA. I didn't start watching until late 2000, so I would love to see all of the early episodes that I missed!! I would also love to see new episodes. Please USA gives us our Passions!!!

Dear Usa Network,Please pick up this wonderful show Passions I am not a big fan of soaps but I love this one.I mean it has it all comedy,drama,etc... the list could go on & on.I would like to point out that Passions is #1 with the 18-24 female audience.So if your looking to boost your ratings picking up new espiodes of Passions will do that.

I love passions and been a fan since before the show started with the promos of different characters...please please consider putting it on your network. It has a lot of fans which could mean good advertising revune for your company please take on Passions...you wont regret it.

Passions is one of the most original and entertaining soap operas ever produced. It has a very loyal fan group which grows everyday. The USA Network playing the re-runs of Passions would expose a whole new group of people to the wonderful town of Harmony, and let the all of the fans remember why we fell in love with Passions.

It would be wonderful if you showed reruns since it would be great to go back to the early days and watch it all over again. Also it would be awesome if you'd consider doing new episodes since the fans want more.

I grew up watching Another World (can you ever get enough of Felicia ). I accidently watched the first episode of Passions and any anger about it replacing AW was instantly forgotten the first time I saw Timmy and Tabitha, that is the power of Passions

Excellent points already made by above posters -- Passions fans are indeed THE most loyal of all soap fans. And adding Passions to your schedule should do wonders for your ratings with female audiences.

Please, USA, at least let us watch the reruns this fall. And new episodes next year would be even better. It's a programming move you won't regret.

OMG I love PASSIONS, I am so sad to see it go. PLEASE, pick up my favorite soap ever. I would love to see even reruns, especially since I am such a huge SHUIS fans, and seems that will be the only I can see my favorite couple together!!

I was reading on the internet and found out that USA might be airing the soap opera called "Passions" which was once viewed on NBC then later aired on Direct TV... I am hoping that what I have read on the internet is true...

i don't watch passions and i'm fine with this thread, but keep it on JUST this thread. It annoys other board members like me if you have more than one thread dedicated to the exact same thing. All it does is push things WE want to look at back. Keep it on one thread.

Please seriously consider airing reruns of Passions on the USA Network! This is a unique and entertaining show with many loyal viewers. I will admit that presently, I rarely tune in to the USA Network (I'd say 2-3 times at most), but I would tune in every day for Passions, and I know I'm not alone in this. Passions viewers has many loyal viewers who would bring their loyalties to the USA Network. Thanks for your consideration!

I would love if USA Network started Passions with reruns from the begining or a spin-off! A lot of people pay tons of money just to watch Passions a few times a MONTH! As a network it would be advantageous to add to your viewer base. The fans of Passions are loyal to the point of securing Direct TV service; others paid weekly/monthly to watch the show on the internet. Due to the unusual format of this show, USA could tap into the new cable/network interest in the supernatural.

The transfer of Passions to USA would be beneficial for all concerned and would be much more fun to watch than back-to-back reruns of Law & Order.

I am a loyal USA viewer, but I don't watch the network everyday. If Passions was to enter the programming I know that I'd be on USA everyday, no matter what time the show was aired. I am excited over the prospect of new episodes, but I really really want to see the series again from the beginning.

It looks like we're going to get our reruns. A reliable source told me that USA wants to air Passions for 3 months and test out the ratings. If ratings are good, they wants to produce new episodes for 2009. I hope they do a SPIN OFF since the show already taped a finale on DTV that will be airing on August 11th.

Yay!!!! It would totally be worth it for them to do so. I bet the ratings will be bigger than anything they've seen before!

I am glad that the USA network wants to rerun Passions for 3 months and if we all watch it and give the network a strong enough rating that maybe they can start new episodes. I know I read that they have already taped the finale on Direct Tv but, you never know what could happen. If not I would be happy with a spinoff from Passions. After all wasn't Passions a spinoff from one of the other Soaps? I'm thinking it was maybe not. Did they said when the reruns will start airing? I only watch USA when wrestling is on or if I am flipping through the channels and there is something that gets my attention.
