Hello, I am a Criminal Intent fan, and an In Plain Sight watcher, and I vaguely recall watching the Starter Wife weekly for about one full moon when it was on last year (I look forward to TSW's return). I am writing to the USA network because my fondness for Law & Order, specifically the Criminal Intent branch. I am also fond of several of USA network's other shows.
However, I do not plan on watching Psych, EVER! And if that leaves things unclear, every time you advertise this ridiculous advert on a Law & Order episode, the opportunity for me to explore a half hour or hour of the torture I endure in the 30 seconds of this chaotic silliness gets even slimmer!!!
I sometimes leave the show(s) I enjoy playing in the background while doing other tasks, mindlessly letting your sponsor's products seep into my brain and out of my pocketbook, until I hear the Psych advertisement. At that horrible sound, I snap to attention and fast forward through the ad, or turn off the program entirely.
The program Psych may have merit; however, the advertising is working against the network, and its sponsor's in this household.
You're obviously not a part of Psych's demographic then because for fans of the show, the ad and song are absolutely hilarious and it promotes the show perfectly. If you watched an episode or two, you'd get it.
