Hart Bochner to woo 'Starter Wife'
USA Network has rounded out the cast of "The Starter Wife," bringing in a new group of characters that include Hart Bochner ("Die Hard") as Debra Messing's new love interest. On "Starter Wife," which is moving from hit miniseries to 10-episode regular series, Bochner will play Zach, who becomes entangled with Molly (Messing) when he teaches her writing class.

Also joining the cast are David Alan Bashe ("Lipstick Jungle"), who's playing Kenny Kagen, Molly's ex-husband; Danielle Nicolet ("Heartland") as Molly's new friend Liz Marsh; and Brielle Barbusca"Hope & Faith") as Molly's daughter, Jaden.


They join the previously announced cast reprising their roles from the mini, including Judy Davis, Chris Diamantopoulos and Joe Mantegna, who's back in a special guest appearance.

Other thesps in recurring roles this season include Alia Shawkat ("Arrested Development"), Krista Allen ("Unscripted"), Ronny Cox ("The Agency"), Reggie Austin ("Notes From the Underbelly"), Daniel Gerroll ("Cashmere Mafia") and James Black ("All of Us").

Bochner recently wrote and directed "Just Add Water" and will appear in the upcoming Ashton Kutcher feature "Spread." He's also about to be seen in the Campbell Scott film "Company Retreat."
