Bobby's mental state hasn't really helped the mental states of his fans. This thread is so we can all confess our insanities and give each other moral support.

Hi, my name is unsteady, and I'm worried to death about a fictional character.

Hi, my name is Scarlett2k and my calm is seriously damaged by the psychological unstability and emotional unavailability of a certain Detective I know.

It has been suggested to me that he is fictional.......surely you jest.

Hi Bubba here, I'm worry about him too, but I hope things will get better for him soon.

We've been watching BG stagger around for two seasons, I'm exhausted...I miss the original Goren...*whine*

Hi. My name is DejaBlue (Deja for short) and I worry about a fictional character. *breaks down sobbing* It all started around season 5 or so. I just don't know what to do any more. blink.gif

It's okay DejaBlue. Caring for a fictional character is nothing to be ashamed of, worry for a character is perfectly normal--well, around here it is, anyway. You picked a good character to focus on. It's not really his fault he's in this mess, but he'll get out of it, we all hope. Just tell yourself, they've got another season to go, nothing extremely bad could happen to them. Say it over and over, hopefully the bad feelings will go away.

Well, that's all the time we have for today. I think we've made progress! smile.gif

Thank you, unsteady. I feel better already. smile.gif

i'm pretty concerned about him too , and i had been neurotic when i saw ''untethered '' , i just have the feeling that bobby's inner issues are not getting enough attention . Maybe bobby should visit a therapist , talk to eames about it , i don't know . But his investigations seem more and more troubling and if he suffered some trauma finding out about brady , he might be more prone to get mad at malevolent fathers during the interogation.

I keep thinking of Eames' "It's too late." I mean, it's just ruining watching old episodes, to know how things turned out between them. Poor Bobby. I honestly don't think Rene Balcer would have put those words in her mouth, but there's nothing we can do about them now.

Now I think of the song" It's too late to apologize," I love that song.

I know that song. On YouTube, there used to be a CI vid to that song. Very appropriate to the whole "Smile" fiasco.

I've been concerned about Robert for some time now. I've watched as he's restained himself from reacting to his mother's put downs and lack of appreciation using her mental illness as his excuse to forgive her of her cruelty towards him. I've watched him fret about his brother and father issues (including the possibility of MFB being his dad). I've watched him rationalize that he is the only sane person in his insane family. I've watched him be disrespected at work despite the fact that he's been right nearly always. I've watched him internalize his anger to the point where he is now depressed.

I have what he needs, if he'd only come and get it!!!!

Could someone do me a favor? I need a link to that interview where the writers talked about Eames' last comment in "Smile."
