It'll be interesting to see how the first ep explains Michael's meeting with his handler or whoever, if they don't introduce Carla until ep 2.

Welcome to the message board. You should read the interview threads to hear more about what is planned. There is one for Sharon Gless as well as the other cast members. To answer your question, yes she will be returning.
LynMichel
Thanks for the info about about the interview threads. I like the concept of a spy and his mother. LOL.

Welcome to the this forum LynMichel. Nice to have here. smile.gif

Thanks for the welcome everyone. No more Dead Zone Bubba so I had to find a new show to watch. I'm glad USA reran the S1 episodes of BN because they are what got me hooked on BN. Plus there was another spy called Michael on a USA show a couple of years ago called La Femme Nikita. Guess I just like spies called Michael. cool.gif
vestokes
Hey. I liked both the Dead Zone and La Femme Nikita. The original movie of La Femme Nikita, French version not necessarily the remake with Bridget Fonda, was good too. I sort of wish I was just seeing BN for the first time. I would love to revisit the experience of discovering the show.

Keep posting. This is where all BN fans mill around between and during the season.

My hubbie and I started rewatching it this weekend too. He's going to make "tuna with tahini" for us on Thursday. (If you haven't seen season 1 as many times as some of us, Fi mentions that it's Michael's favorite in the bounty hunter episode.)

Hey all, sidelined ST for this week to see our boys in action....WHo's "Jimmy" and where have I seen him before....????

PS apparenly "Karla" is #6 (the blonde scilon Baltar fell for--i think) from Battlestar

Well, that was pretty amazing. I have to admit though I was kinda raising my eyebrow at the big cliffhanger from last season. I was expecting more I suppose. Either way, I'm really excited for the rest of the season.
Jolly
Well, that was certainly worth the wait!!!! I'm just gonna start it all over again!!! WooooHoooo!!! biggrin.gif
AubieDaubie
Hi all! Newbie to the BN board.

A good episode, I think.
Spoiler:
Obviously, lots of questions raised. Who is Carla? What does she want this info for? If she uses this info for bad stuff, how will that affect Mike? And what about Fi and Mike? Will Sam make up with his lady friend? And more importantly, they're trading in Mike's old car (which was totally hot) for a Saab? I understand Saab is a sponsor, but come on. It's like destroying Dean's car on Supernatural. Plus, those older black cars are sexy.

Can't wait for next week!

I'll totally admit that I was a little choked up when Fi and Michael were having their "talk."

I enjoyed Episode 1 myself, BUT, I hope they aren't serious about Fi and Micheals characters not being a couple, that part made me sad. I am already looking forward to next week, Thanks USA smile.gif

Yeah, I realise that Michael and Fi's relationship had to change, but it seems so abrupt after that tender goodbuy they had at the end of last season. That was alot of action they had to get in that episode, I wouldn't mind if things slow down abit and we develop character more.

Agree with you BBB, the whole relationship thing ending so quickly was a bummer. But hey, she'll still be around helping him with stuff so hopefully we'll get to see some sparks fly either way. Kind of like in the first season, Fiona will continue to be a bit playful with Michael, but it won't ever get too serious. At least that's how it's usually written, right? They'll still have a caring relationship, but not necessarily a romantic one. Besides, it'll be interesting to see what they do with the Carla character, because you know Fiona will get a bit jealous that Michael spends a lot of time "talking" with her. Gosh, I wish I could've studied to become a script writer ---I'd have so much fun with this one!!! LOL

I thought it was really great! This is a great month to be alive! New Criminal Intent! New Burn Notice! In Plain Sight rocks! New Saving Grace and New Closer! New Monk and New Psych! And the New X-Files movie! It is awesome!

Burn Notice is so great, I finally got my husband interested. He watched the show with me and loved it.
pfchristine
Great start!

I thought they made two brilliant moves to kick off the new season. First, the new puppetmaster with the huge but unknown agenda, resources and power. We still get to discover the "man beind the curtain" bit by bit, but with a few twists. Micheal is no longer choosing his own adventures for the most part... that's gotta be a little uncomfortable for him.

Also, he gets to make requests and demands that will be indulged or rebuffed. It doesn't all have to be whatever he can scrape together with almost no budget. Sometimes he'll be given things... like the guns from the opening scene. Opens up a world of possibilities, doesn't it?

Second, Fiona backing away from wanting a relationship with him. I know, I made the boo boo face when it happened too... but this way, the tango continues. Drawn together but held apart. They can go on dancing closer and spinning away for ages. As much as we all wanna see everything work out for them, it's so much more dramatic when they don't.

I'm dating myself here, but remember how much less interesting Cheers was after Sam and Diane finally became a couple? They had a cute moment here and there after that, but mostly it was a big snore. You know who did it right? The West Wing. Josh and Donna make the decision to get on that plane together and give their relatinship a real try in the final episode. Now that's good television. cool.gif

ps: I'm usually a Criminal Intent gal, but this show has really captured my interest in a big way so I thought I'd pop over and toss my two cents in the jar. Howdy biggrin.gif
