Look, it was all I could think to do to combat what the writers would think if they took another unmentionable topic at face value. Let's fill this up fast, to combat that other thread.

I don't understand why anyone would think that the writers will be getting rid of Goren because of a few comments on a thread. Just read other posts in that thread and the popularity of Goren is so evident.

The show has been renewed. He is the show.

If he were to leave, it would be of his own choosing.

As much as people want to comment, don't post on that thread and it will die.

I don't think they would get rid of Goren, so many people watch the show because of him and Eames.
It would be a stupid mistake. I am in no way saying that Logan and Wheeler are well written characters, I like them too.

yeah, I tried SO hard not to post there-- but I just couldn't not respond to some of their comments. I know that I shouldn't let stuff like that bother me so much, but I couldn't help it-- I just had to let them know what I thought. I'm sure that we don't have anything to worry about though, I really think that as long as the show is around, he will be on it-- I just can't picture it any other way.

This is a great idea unsteady. We can post all of our comments about the hated [no more goren]thread here and stop posting on it so it will die, hopefully, quickly. The thread has all of us upset and I think that was what the person intended. I personally hate giving them the satisfaction.

What idiot could even think of such a show killing idea. I really do watch all the CI's, but Goren and Emes are the best two for chemistry and tactics of getting their man. All my friends agree, we were going to stop watching when they were replaced, thank christ they are back. We do like Chris Noth but you haven't found a right partner yet for him. I agree. On the NBC board, there were people banned from posting because of their constant ridicule and harrassment of other members. I don't know why some people think it's cute to annoy other people who are minding their own business and just want to enjoy an intelligent discussion with other like-minded people. And one person posting under several different names (and answering themselves) is just creepy. Please, moderators, do something.

Am I missing something? I haven't heard Goren or Eames or going anywhere. I love Logan and Wheeler, but the reality is Goren and Eames define CI. I don't see the writers changing that.

ok.. here's the skinny (I love old movie talk)anyway.. the only way Goren is gone is if VDO wants it.. the powers that be would never get rid of him.. that would be getting rid of the show.. from the beginning it's been HIS show.. the only way .. IMO.. he would leave is if Noth left and they found no replacement.. VDO and Erbe have nade it very clear they can't keep the pace of carrying the show every week... and.. if Noth left .. and he has hinted about it a while back.. i don't think a replacemnet would fly.. people that are down on Noth should realize .. he saved the show.. just read some old articles.. so to keep Vincent/Goren.. we gotta keep Noth/Logan.. so lets show some love shall we.

I'll start to worry when they say....They are Not working out new deals!
