Hey guys, now as you may or may not have known:

Tomorrow will mark 2 years since we lost one of Television's most successful Producers

Aaron Spelling

and so, in tribute to Aaron Spelling, I thought that I would post some threads about some of his shows and for you to share your thoughts on his shows.

and so, let's start off w/this:

What are your thoughts on the following Cop/Detective Shows Produced by the late Aaron Spelling?

and here they are:

The Mod Squad
The Rookies
S.W.A.T. (The TV Spin-off of The Rookies)
Starsky & Hutch
Charlie's Angels
Hart to Hart
Vega$
T. J. Hooker

Please share your thoughts on all of this.

Oh and BTW, The Mod Squad was co-produced by the late Danny Thomas (under Thomas-Spelling Productions) Vegas was co-produced by Douglas S. Cramer (producer of Wonder Woman w/Lynda Carter) and the rest of the Cop Shows were co-produced by Leonard Goldberg (under Spelling-Goldberg Productions) and they're also in the hands of Columbia TriStar and SONY while Vega$ and The Mod Squad are owned by CBS and Paramount.

and plus, Hart to Hart was Created by Sidney Sheldon (Creator of I Dream of Jeannie) and Charlie's Angels was Created by the late Ivan Goff and the late Ben Roberts who were also the Producers of Logan's Run: The Series on CBS Starring Gregory Harrison of Trapper John, M.D., Heather Menzies Urich (Widow of the late Robert Urich) and Randy Powell of Dallas.

Hi Bubba here, I can not comment on all of them because I haven't seen them all. But I do like Starsky & Hutch and Charlie's Angels.

My favorites were Cagney and Lacey and Hart to Hart....I always wanted to be like Christine Cagney...

I have vague memories of these shows. On the Mod Squad I only remember Linc's fro and that Julie always had to be saved ala Audra on Big Valley. As kids we used to run home to watch Starsky and Hutch. That whole cast just worked so well together and we felt like we were watching "Adult TV". Vegas and SWAT - Robert Urich! Vegas was total cheese. A show about beautiful people with over-the-top dramatics and humor and I watched every week. Robert Urich is an actor that is greatly missed.
