You know you have a problem when you spend the afternoon constantly bouncing to USA to check for "In Plain Sight" commercials. Or rather, looking for a specific one you think you saw earlier. [You know you have other problems when you have to do the bouncing because you have to watch Bravo all afternoon waiting for the Top Chef rerun, because the TVGuide channel no longer exists for you.]

It's a general ad, not episode specific, and had one seriously interesting scene we haven't seen. Bringing the number of different ones I saw today to 3, all very exciting. I finally did catch it so it definately wasn't my imagination and was for the right show and I can ask my burning question:

So the scene: a guy ducks into a room and there's immediate kissage involving a bag of ice. Who are they? It's too quick! Even after two viewings I don't trust my brain which is registering M&M-age. -Knocks on wood-

Hi Bubba here, I haven't seen that commercial/promo yet. I will try to catch and see if I see who the are. Don't know if they would put Marshall and Mary in a relationship this early into the series. We'll see. wink.gif

Edited: I did see the commerical, (I hope it's the same one you're talking about it,) Mary is in it, but I can't make out who the other guy is though.

Hi Bubba, that sounds like the one! I agree they wouldn't hook them up, but the way shows today try and draw in viewers by dragging out the heavy guns right off the bat, I wouldn't put it past them to spin last week's 'kiss' and this weeks... incident... into a short romantic accident. Thereby setting up solid UST for the run.

Or, um, not? In all his interviews Frederick Weller is like, obsessed with his character being in love with Mary, but he also says he wants Marshall to confront her about it. Could go either way I guess.

Earlier yesterday I caught commercials with the "I'm loving you like an $8 whore" bit. My heart filled with squee and squee again, as my overtired brain raced through possibilities and the sheer delight of more material from this IPS obsession.

And the M&M shippery-ness. Which, oh god, I only see as shippery because I've been corrupted. Everything comes out in M&M, albeit in various flavours and colours.


Seriously though, this whole thing only confirms my long-standing belief that knowing background info is a bad idea, seriously majorly bad if it's from the actors. If you're of an impressional mind, and haven't watched through the interviews, save yourself and DON'T DO IT, at least until the season is done!

If the sceen you are talking about where Mary and this guy bust through a door kissing I know that guy. I hope it is the same sceen you are talking about. His name is Jason Wiles and he is a great actor, writer and director and I am a big fan of his. He played on Third Watch and he was a police officer name Bosco. Alot of his fans are waiting to see this esp. that he will be in. biggrin.gif

Oh darn. But also a yay! I did, back in the day, watch Third Watch and still consider the Bos (googles for a moment) the Bos/Faith? partnership to be one of the greats in television history. I love me my plationic friendships. -Please, at this time, don't tell me if it changed from that ;[

Anyway, on to the spoilery preview watch for episode 6. Only commercials and stuff on the website, I swear.

Oiy! Prettyful moment! What with Mary coming out of nowhere to grab and aggressively tease Marshall! And that look he was giving her - I'll just interpret that as 'whatever, I'd much rather have you.' Plus the fact that he instantaneously runs after her target - Marshal he is, deep down inside.

The first few eps I was having serious doubts about them, given that she wasn't spending much energy his way - and half of what she did, they seem to have cut out of the episode after initial airing. But they are making up for it, and I would like to send cookies to the writers because of that.

... D00dz, I would actually try that, in the literal sense, if I thought no one would think I was trying to poison them.

After seeing Bosco makeout so much and the preview showing Mary and a guy kissing brought back when Bosco kissed Cruz and when I paused the picture of Mary kissing the guy I was thrilled that that guy was Jason.

I was watching the other night and came to that scene and finally figured out it was Jason Wiles. I can't wait to see this episode...I totally love Bosco!
